I can get twice the max altitude by pulsing the engine instead of full throttle until the fuel is gone. This implies that my lunar lander is experiencing atmospheric drag. And on return, the lander seems to achieve a terminal velocity -- again, atmospheric drag. Which should not exist on the Moon.

lol I flew upwards until my fuel was empty(8650) and let the ship drop.
It wasnt even a second on the screen and - boom!

Oh wow, I completely suck at this haha. The ship seems to crash way too easily. But, the way it moves seems quite realistic. 4/5* Decent game, I liked it.

The "dangers" display is a really nice touch. Now there's no excuse for not knowing you were going a teensy bit too fast.

EXCELLENT remake of a classic! Scores and additional landing sites with varying degrees of difficulty would be great!

I enjoy moonlander games. this is a good setup. the things i would change are: stronger lander (explosions everytime i landed) and I agree with the point system

It's a good idea, interface and game.. (Besides the fact that i kept blowing up..) The only things i think you'd need is:
An easy setting for us notgoodpeople
A point system instead of lives? This game seems it would work better without dying.

If you add the highscore system remember to remove the random starting point, or the results will be affected by luck.

Just uploading my first game to kongregate. This is a game I made a while ago (Flash 5), but I thought I'd post it and make some updates as I go along. :)
