Logic Traces is an addictive combination of Sudoku and Minesweeper. Trace lines from numbers placed on the board to cover all the squares.
There may be one way to solve the puzzle or five. It’s your job to find the most efficient way and get the star!
There are no time limits or move limits. The further you get, however, the more challenging the game becomes. Can you solve all the puzzles?

USE LOGIC TO WIN: Fill in the board by connecting squares to numbers
SIMPLE, CLEAN LINES: So you can focus on solving the puzzle.
UNLIMITED MOVES: Try out different combinations to get to the solution
SAVE YOUR MOVES: You can save each level’s moves and then go back if you make a mistake
PLAY AS LONG AS YOU WANT: There is no energy in Logic Traces, you can play as long as your brain can handle it.
PLAY OFFLINE: Perfect for trains, planes and automobiles where you might not have the strongest network connection.
SHARE YOUR SCORE WITH YOUR FRIENDS: Compete to see who can solve the puzzle the best.

Logic Traces is free to download. You can purchase new puzzle packs in game.

How to Play

Draw some lines, fill in the board and solve the puzzle. Challenge yourself with over 400 levels of increasing complexity. Each board begins with different numbered nodes. The number represents the maximum length of all lines that can be drawn from that node. The goal is to completely fill in the board with these lines. While you may find a solution, it won’t always be perfect, and you’ll find yourself coming back for more.

I would definitely give this game a higher rating if the score wasn't based on me repeating a level after I'm done.

If you play this game as it's intended, as a puzzle using logic, you have to make moves as a process of elimination, which means not always drawing full lines but instead partial lines to track the logic of "This line is the only one which can go in this square". The scoring method of "moves it took to finish" goes completely against using this logic pretty much forcing you to repeat a puzzle to get the star, as others have said. The purpose of this post is to bring up an additional reason for why this type of scoring doesn't do well with this type of game.

Going to make a suggestion, not just to this games developer, but to devs of puzzle games in general. The whole idea of grading people on how fast or how many moves it takes to finish a puzzle is... misguided. It serves no real purpose other than to push people to repeat puzzles they have just solved. I'm sure there are those who disagree. But it's in every bloody puzzle game and it's gotten old. For me at least. Thanks for listening. (Surprisingly good game otherwise.)

I like the concept, but the scoring system is horrible. The fact that undoing doesn't decrease the move count is really annoying. All it does is forcing players to play the same level again with the exact same solution to get a higher score.

Please display the number of moves for a "star" during the level - having to complete the level to find out if you have to do it again is annoying. I'd rather just restart the level if I know I'm not going to make the cut.
