you need bomplete bestiary for the RQ to spawn. Go to a small nest beat it down to 1 remaining, keep dodging until either an amalgam, a queen or a razor queen spawns.

help! i was practicing with void eaters, then i died and there was a rematch button, so i clicked it even though the razor queen wasnt turned on. now, i face the razor queen every time i go in practice mode. huh?

void eater is actually really easy to kill, when it shoots the LAZERZ beam you run towards it and whack it with your SWOOOOOOORDZ.
Also, I was llike omg wtf I'm so lucky, they biter just defelcted off me (w00t) then a meltie splatted me:.S

Hardcore mode will be unlocked at a certain amount of awards, cant remember how many and is on the main menu in form of a biter on a sword :)

Amalgams show up randomly. There's no way to make one appear. They can be sort of coaxed out in the same manner as queens and razor queens, just dodging until one shows up though. It's not a guarantee, but the odds are good.

My advice for beating a small nest is actually to turn on hardcore. You'll be bombarded by everything from the very beginning and learn to cope with it all. Then after you've practiced a lot that way, you can turn it off and actually beating it will be a lot easier. Plus there's also the chance that you'll just beat it on hardcore and not have to worry about it anymore, unlike if you did it in practice mode.

JOEY: You beat a horror by getting away from it and waiting for it to shoot the four disks at you and then you run over and hit it while it's unprotected. DUKE: You get the special key by defeating Razor Queen.

@wreckgar: those are clutters. You're being bogged down and should shake your mouse in circles quickly to shake those clutter babies off. I think you may have alrady quit the game or found it out, but this is just in case it happens again. Or you can equip the hazard suit, which protects against clutters.

S.O.S. I am surrounded by the purple ones (I forgot their name!) They are shooting mindless bullets at me and I can't escape. The worst part is that I have 3 more glopples to kill. HELP!!!
