Now that I think of it, this game really reminds me of Undertale. Even though something darker is at work underneath everything, the upbeat graphics and music keep you interested and determined to finish the game... And just like Undertale, I find myself coming back even after beating the game ten or eleven times.

3. it would be cool to see the time so i know how close i was to the flawless achievement before i start raging that i got hit when i totally jumped over that grave

few things : 1. i LOVE the ability to rebind keys
2. getting "grounded" every time i get hit is really annoying , i can fail jumping over a bear, he grounds me and then i hit a mushroom

I find it funny how after i played this game for a couple of times trying to beat it, the moment i decide to look at other stuffs it looks like it's moving.

Sometimes you get a mushroom or a grave with a fireball above it, if you're too close to realise then you're doomed because there is no way to dodge it unless you are nearly dead and are able to see it from the end of screen, if you're nearly dead there is a high possibility you'll die anyway since its incredibly hard to evade, could you work your coding magic and somehow stop that from happening? Like if there is a mushroom then no fireballs can be above it or something similar to that, thanks :P

5/5. Great game, great music, nice retro feel, great-looking sprites.
However, the only things I dislike about this game are the fireballs. They can appear out of nowhere, and no matter how skilled you are, you can get hit by them just by pure misfortune. Either make them appear less random or flat out remove them.

A girl running around with sword and fox ears sounds like an anime super hero until you realize she just got killed by a shroom.
You had the ability to grow foxs ears and jump 3 times in the air but you couldnt find any way you could render mushrooms harmless.

Infinite runner. Swords. Young Female warriors/anything like that. Outrunning the Death(foxes sucked, why not others?). Dream Coin values. 5/5 stars.

"To escape death, you must run flawlessly for 2 minutes." Uh, yeah, 2/5 stars =/ (would be 1, but it's otherwise a good game)

I particularly dislike the tombstone-with-flaming-skull-over-it traps, because the tombstones blend in with the background, whereas the flaming skull stands out. It's making 120s flawless a real pain.

I agree with a previous post. The fact that one of the medals was "buy everything" (whether or not I need it), another was "get all the other medals" and both are required for the ending, stinks. Otherwise the game was somewhat fun.
I did actually want to make it so you could miss one medal, but the medals are really the whole point of the game, so we decided against that. If you still haven't done the 2 minutes flawless, try the first 2 minutes of a new game, because it's easier and doesn't have as many fire traps. =)

I just played this game some months ago, and saw the possibility to download the Music for free. After some time, I just browser in my Music Folder in the PC, and I found the Music from FEAR LESS!, with the covers too for print and one music file. I only want to say Thanks to Greg Lane for the music loop, and thanks to Tony McCoy for the gameplay music. So Great :)
RPI, the class was called "Sensation and Perception" and was all about optical illusions and the way the visual system works. Very helpful for gamedev, even if it only counted as an elective. =)

So it's not about actually getting distance on Death, but completing the challenges that ends the nightmare? That's... kinda dumb.
It's an infinite runner with a highscore board, so yeah, the victory scene is just an added bonus. The story is about fearing less, so when it becomes a game and you're not even worried about death anymore, you stop having the nightmares. Makes sense to me.

i can make it to 913 m but not the full 1000 it's too hard but i really want to see the ending i love how cute the game is
No, sorry. It was only because the font didn't have arrow key symbols, but any text characters will work. I could add this if it's really an issue for people...

I love this game SO much. I love the Music, the Visuals, everything. Not to mention I'm pretty good at it and have beaten it 2-3 times. Please make a Sequel to this!

After playing the game a while the moving screen acts as an optical illusion, everything on the screen is moving horizontally!
