I don't see why everyone is complaining about the advertizing. Kong's getting money, which can then be used to better it.
By biggest gripe in the game is that a catapult can still solve most levels. The poorly thought-out levels crushed my hopes for the fun of the first Fantastic Contraption.
That, and for some reason the level "star" won't let me win. Anyone else have this problem?

advertising fail.
I, too, am off to play the original FC which I paid for over a year ago and still think it's the best flash game ever made.

"...and it's ironic that a game sponsored by Toyota presents the Prius as an immobile, annoying as hell obstacle."
rofl. That's pure win.

There are many games, films or books that have inferior sequels, but this is one of the most disappointing.
The efficiency gauge is utterly pointless and extremely poorly thought out, it's just a new restriction in a game that's supposed to be about building awesome, ingenious machines. The solar panels render the wooden sticks completely useless, and it's ironic that a game sponsored by Toyota presents the Prius as an immobile, annoying as hell obstacle.
Everything, without exception, was better in the first part.

Ok, one thing is that this IS just a cheap ad. The second thing is that this is just annoying. Pretty much a failure.

"Haha, that's pretty funny. All the game care s about is energy efficiency and not cost efficiency, so you just throw on a ton of solar panels and can feel like an environmentally cool hippy, ignoring real-life factors... just like the Prius."
quote for epicness XDDD

i made a level and my goal ball got so much speed so it "freezed" it looked like it was frozen but acted as it was rolling :P

people people you got it wrong its not an add the prius sucks so bad thay wont us to make them a new car aparently a car made out of wood and water is better then the prius
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The "energy" thing really doesn't add any difficulty at all. Just put a bunch of solar panels connecting to nothing, and you're golden. =/

Yay, a game which is entirely a blatant ad for a car... just what I've always wanted. The Prius popups alone made me give up on this game after a level or so. If the ads were a bit more subtle, I might be able to enjoy this game as much as the original one on this site.

The efficiancy is invalid, the difficulty curve is a 90 degree angel and dude... half the people on this site are not old enough to drive.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
advertising in games is just lame... btw i´ve driven a prius... this is not something i would buy for myself... wich is probably the reason they need to advertise this pos car anyway.

danthemango's right, just plant lotsa solar panels on the ground to get near unlimited energy. Doesn't have t be connected to your.. construction
