I have not found one SINGLE game that actually runs properly without insane lag in Ruffle. Who the heck thought that Ruffle was acceptable?

Dumb ass game. Retry after a failure is painfully slow and the final boss is unfair due to the size of the battalion, no way to avoid some of the attacks.

The shooting mechanics in the early game is terrible. More than half the time I'm auto-shooting and don't want to be shooting or wanting to shoot, but waiting. Really, really bad. Kinda' ruins the game. Maybe their lack of imagination on creating a skillful game was to limit the natural abilities of the character? If so, 0/5. If not 2/5. I'll split the difference.

You know, it's weird. I was a Private at the start of the game, but I was still a one star general that entire time too. How does that work? Also, where are our medics?

Is there a reason why the local save for the game doesn't you know, ACTUALLY WORK?!?
I'm fine with having to start ALL THE WAY AT THE BEGINNING for some games, but NOT something like this.

Omg I knew it will be boss at the end. I hate bosses. In normal life when you destroy enemys base there is no monster battleship, you just won!

I found a glitch. If you do not purchase one of your allies, e.g. do not buy the flamethrower upgrade, your allies are invincible. Then you only have to worry about which allies you pick up and making sure your leader doesn't get hit.

Hard badge is easy AF if you don't bother with flame throwers in your team but do get rocketeers and bullet-shooters, get uranium bullets and homing missile upgrades, rockets for yourself, and helicopter special ability. I'm at 2200m, full team, all 100%, and I don't feel like making the effort anymore lol.

Oddly enough, I found the hard badge to be much, much easier than the medium. I finally finished the boss off at the end of normal mode and then got the hard badge on my first attempt at endless. Homing missiles made a huge difference. I just saved Napalm Wave for helicopters and avoided damage as much as possible. The homing missiles and marksmen took care of the enemies for me.

I think the biggest thing that makes this game more difficult than it ought to be, is that the enemy indicators are significantly smaller than the actual hit zone.

My setup for the Hard badge was Skill: Airstrike, Weapon: Missile Launcher, Perks: Armor, Nano Bots, Fireproof Spray and M.R.E pack. All upgrades were purchased (though the skill ones like Air support and a few weapon ones didn't matter). You'll be able to keep a full team through a majority of of the run and they'll do most of the killing to help protect you.

Please fix marksman - he will miss if you are moving, which makes him a waste of a spot (its better not to unlock him in the current state).

sometimes all people really do want is more of the same. it's not bad so long as the game isn't too long, isn't too grindy, is at least kinda fun, and most importantly, doesn't cost a thing to play, aside from what it takes to sit on your arse and putz around for an hour or so anyway.

@jmfkiddo: But in this game, the enemy is coming from the NORTH, and there is SNOW everywhere. That definitely makes it worthy of a second game. /sarc Seriously though, the new upgrades does make the game different enough. It would be nice if we could choose to use upgrades from the previous game though, such as having nanobots restore health or shooting 4 homing missiles.

This is almost excactly the same as the first battalion commander. Don't know why you would make two of the same game.

When collecting a new team member with an already full team; it should swap out a current team member of that type with the new Full Health Team Member.... not sending him on a suicide mission off the screen

1/5 the worst vertical shooter i have ever played. graphics look like they werent finished. music is pretty boring. the gameplay is trying to be some on-the-ground game but it just isnt. if it was trying to be this, just play "commando." i dont know why the developer decided to have an auto-fire mechanic. should have just let the player decide when they want to do stuff so there can be self-made challenges, like no killing. from the looks of some screens, there seems to be a lot of grind. also, the game seems really easy. 1/5 i dont recommend this game. this is a message to anyone who sees this review; play another game.

The hard badge gets 1000 times easier when you grind the missions until you've completed around 44 and you get the last perk that gives all of your guys 100% life

only flaw I can really see is how when the guys pop out of the ground, you can't tell what enemy type they are until they land and start shooting. Other than that pretty solid game

Without them pink jeeps suddenly obliterating you with a diarrhetic hail of boolets now and then this is sooooo much easier than the first one.

"run 1000m without perks" is a missions that make this game a real grind. And "have 3 riflemen in your team" is flat out impossible if you already unlocked the other classes as you cannot dismiss a unit you don´t want. Also the upgrades are less helpful than in the first BC. All in all, this is a downgrade. What a pity.

Nice game I fell short of 2000 a few times then I finally got it and ended up nearly going double what I needed XD
My perks were armor, uranium bullets, energy shield and uav support
load out was air support and heavy minigun if that helps anyone.
A large part of it is grinding war supplies and inspiration are very helpful.
