Usually for a successful sequel, developers listen to the players and make improvements. This sequel is basically just a hard-mode version of the first, where the developers did the opposite of what was asked? "Don't like that you can't shoot backwards, but the enemy can? How about we keep that, but now also spawn enemies behind you!" It takes 3x bullets to kill each enemy, enemies spawn behind you, all enemies and their bullets move faster... this is nothing but a more frustrating and grindy version of the first.

Actually I believe that this game is less grindy than the first game. In the first game there were annoying waves where a complete wave of cars were driving towards you which made it a bit annoying. To my surprise, this game didn't include them! It was more about skill to survive in this one. My overall rating for this is 4/5

"You know what everyone loved about the first game? How things would end up behind you and shoot you from behind while you can only shoot forward. What if we just made things spawn BEHIND people this time?" - The developers of this game, probably.

I had to pump extra power into my CPU in order to beat the boss, otherwise the lag made it unbeatable.
As for the game, you should be able to toggle what units to use or not.

By the time I got to the mission "survive 180 seconds with double pistol," I hadn't had the double pistol for like forty runs. Is there a way to remove upgrades? Otherwise, it's terribly set up, and it locks you out of things.

I had a full squad of marksmen and they all fired 2 shots at the same enemy infantryman. I guess they believe in overkill.

For the hard badge use the adrenaline skill and ONLY when a helicopter shows up. Also to get the best out of it you need to have the medi kit and salvation perks equipped so it heals everybody. Pick up as many marksmen and rocketeers as you can too.

I would have liked some warning that, no matter how much damage I do to the central part of the last stage of the final boss of normal mode, it won't go down unless I destroy both search lights. Considering damaging the search lights has no effect on the health bar, not knowing this was not pleasant.

This game on its own is very good. Compared to the last one, it's great. The developer took the last game and polished every aspect. While there are flaws, the game is smoother, more difficult, more interesting, and generally, more fun.

I get the lags after playing for a while. Had to refresh a couple of times when I was over 1.5km into endless... =/
At least now I got the badge and I'm outta here.

a scrypt keeps beeing bugged and makes playing impossible cant run more than 1000 meters without having too refresh completely.... and my pc runs other flash games just fine and so did the older battalion commander just fine but this one seems kind of bugged

(in means of plot/style, not speaking of gameplay.) Not the first time this game pleasantly reminds me of the oldish-yet-goodish Cannon Fodder series. Being also a russian, желаю IrySoft добра :)

A fairly good game. But the main problem I see is the weapons for the main character; the reload is far too slow for this type of game. You feel often underpowered and upgrading to the most powerful weapon is still not good enough. So you have to dodge most of the time...

The reload time is an hour and I can't control when I fire. How is it that THIS is the game that implements autofire that you can't turn off when other games choose to not have autofire when they really should?
