Wow, some upgrades actually make your team WORSE! Give us the ability to turn some off. I'll take the shotgun over the minigun any day. I'll take a rifleman over a grenadier any day too. I got stuck with an entire team of grenadiers and they were useless.

why put the main character in front of the /\ formation if the game end when he dies. it should be like a V formation with the main at the bottom

Once in a while, some members of my squad take damage from an invisible source. It seems like something explodes, but invisibly. I noticed it right around 1000m in one of my last few runs. It happened again a little ways beyond that, in the same run. It seems to happen every run.

I really like this game but I'm not a big fan of the Napalm upgrade. To swap out the ability to wipe out the entire screen in a minute or so compared to wiping out a single lane in shorter time doesn't seem like that's really useful to me. An ability to switch between the two would be nice.

One important thing I would consider adding: sometimes you can be extremely unlucky by saving all soldiers of 1 type (grenadier, marksman, etc.).
While this can be seldom useful, most of times it will be not! So it would be nice to be able to "dismiss" one or more soldiers you don't need so the next ones you set free can join your team.

Why couldn't one of the remaining soldiers just become the squad leader when the first one dies? I've got 5 more men but, shit, the general's dead. Better give up.

How to easily get the Hard badge: When it comes to upgrades, upgrade NOTHING in the center row except the last two: AA Specialist and Future Armor. Even when you have more money than God DON'T DO IT. Each Ally you unlock just makes the soldiers you get during the game more random. Ideally, you'll want all AA Specialists.For weapons, get the Shotgun (good early - mid game weapon) and then unlock the rockets. Napalm is the best super imo because it recharges quickly and at the endgame with the Future Armor upgrade your units are nearly impossible to kill. I actually TRIED to get my riflemen killed and couldn't do it before I picked up another health pack or 5 in endless. With the majority of your squad being AA Specialists the missiles will be plentiful and sweep over everything like a tidal wave of destruction. As the game progresses the enemies become tougher and tougher to defeat but that won't matter because you'll have hit 3000m before it becomes an issue. Have fun!

Great game. The ability to close ranks, change formation, or pick what allies join in would be nice. Maybe you can add them to the sequel or re-make.

This dandy little game is a fantastic spin on the top scroller. However an addition that would be extremely helpful is if I could choose what types of allies appear in the cages. After awhile the lower ranking soldiers (especially grenadiers with their limited range) begin to actually hold back my squads ability to succeed. If I had just AA specialists it might be a little OP, but that's more friendly than being stuck with underpowered units to attack choppers and tanks with.

so, headstrong is NOT a term in this game. headbutting cars didnt work. Using all bullets in a shotgun on a barrel up close killed me. got too close to barbwire to take the tower out faster. not complaining but damn what setbacks of reality...

the grenadiers seem useless, firing once every several seconds, the riflemen shoot about 7 shots in the time it takes the grenadier to fire once. the range is short, and blast radius is small. i find the upgraded riflemen to be upgraded grenadiers since they fire only a little slower, but fire 10 bullets between shots. fast start makes the game harder, making it difficult to build an army and no way of knowing who your even picking up, completely useless on endless mode. the heroic dash will usually just get you surrounded, just like fast start, but with shorter invincibility. snipers projectiles move so fast they often pass through infantry without harming them, but are otherwise overpowered, taking out bunkers, towers, even tanks and helicopters in a few shots. i find myself wishing i never bought grenadiers and fast start.

I'm no expert in war tactics, but I'm pretty sure the second Barbie jeeps start propelling bricks out of machine guns, that's when you pack up, and go home.

Have a hotkey for the use of the special abilities, the amount of times I drag my mouse over to click on one and my squad leader runs straight into some spikes. Also it's far too slow and boring when you start from the beginning after each run.

i love when your entire screen gets bombed by the bombers AND at the same time a bunch of jeeps with miniguns come at you, making it only possible to survive if you use your ability. yea, love when that happens

ended up beating the last boss with 3 people. my 2 teamates died in the first half and did ther second half starting with only 50% hp and still beat it. the boss shouldve been a bit harder

i love it how people keep complaining about laggs in games, and blame the game for that instead of taking a look into their hardware.
I never lagg on any Games on Kong... kinda weird if it is the Games Issue?
Funny Game, but way to slow for my Taste. 4/5

The lag is horrendous. There's some kind of memory leak going on that slows everything down when the car is used and when there are too many things on screen. Game breaker for a bullet hell.
