Seems like I am not the only one experiencing loss of saves.
Comments regarding this issue was feb and mar and april.
No response from Dev or site admin. 2 of the comments hidden due to downvotes.

Great game, but I keep losing my saves when I close my browser.
I still have the badges, but the save games are gone. Using chrome and not in incognito mode and I have not deleted browser history.

Seems to be a bug, I had 3 skill points. Decided I wanted to wait until I had 6 since I only had a few more xo to reach it, did, and then went back in to assign my skill points and it was still only 3. Not 6.

Game seems to have dead spots. I click to cast a spell and nothing happens. You have to move the mouse slightly to cast the spell.

cool game. some things could be better, like almost every free game, but it's a very good game overall. Totally worht playing

The game has recently started crashing on the same level (the first one with the stones). I have two Ballistas built on the cross shaped piece of land in the center, and when the Valkyries' Charm kicks in (on the wave where there are 12 of them), I use fear to uncharm my turrets, and game crashes. First time I've faced this. Going to try and see if I can get through that wave in particular.

I got brilliant on all 21 day and nights on Microsoft Edge. This made me use edge, but it worked pretty well. Fun tower defense game.

To anyone wanting to make brilliant a little easier to obtain, make sure not to waste your skulls. Gem Return will not only take back all of the moved gems on the level, but will return them to an untouched state.

There's a good TD game buried within, but the grind is insane, and I don't like the amount of RNG. Heck, the grind is even worse than in the first game's level pack addon.

I changed games to see if Vault of Xenos was running yet and I return and all my progress is gone.

Terrible 'remaster'. Too much time spent watching gems go round and round. Too many options. Too many resourves to manage. Self healing enemies! The previous versions were nicely balanced between challenging and achievable. This is to hard, too annoying and just a grind. Big mistake. Ruined a good thing, I'm afraid.

Thank you so much for remaking this without Flash. There are so many of my favorite flash games that I can't play anymore, but this is one of the best.

A few issues: First, the "battle" button sometimes fast forwards through a little bit of the next wave, letting enemies "spawn" further down the path than they should. Second, "The Night Men Cometh Badge" counts the total brilliants earned across all night mode missions, including duplicates. I've only gotten brilliant on 12 night missions, and haven't attempted to do any others yet, but since I got brilliant twice on the 2nd night mission, it says I've gotten 13 brilliant nights. Third, there's WAY too much gating in this game. Your spells and tower upgrades are limited by the map you're on until map 9, even if you replay the missions, which was a real pain for me during map 2's night mode. You'd think we'd at least be able to use what we unlocked throughout a region(such as the Meadowshire) to use in it's night mode, since we had to beat the region to unlock it's night mode, but that's not the case.

original was better, game has a weird speed problem where its constantly running at 2x speed at least relative to the first's speed and screws with the framerate at times. Also the skull shop is a cop out, just to get people to drop money if they suck or grind skulls to cheese the game. spells sometimes take multiple clicks to activate and can screw you over if you need to cast it, along with the doubled speed ive probably missed at least 50 terrify spells. play cursed treasure 2 classic.

I lose all the text in game. I have my save and everything but not all text. Even after refreshing game. Any solution here?

Yea that happens on older PCs when you mess with time based things. It's cause everytime you press begin it goes super fast and the ambient sounds add up. Causing lag and palying of noise that should have expired.. Not a PC expert so my explanation will be off but it's something like that.

I don't know if something is screwy on my end or what, but the audio sounds AWFUL. In my headphones, it has a strange reverb that makes it sound like it's being played out of cheap speakers, which isn't present on the mobile version whatsoever.
