Awesome game, as always. One thing: the lag is really terrible. On the higher levels, it makes it almost impossible to win.

it lags a lot in night mode. for me is unplayable in that mode. I can't get the hard badge in this way. Fix or adjust quality for slow computers
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I have bad lag only in the "by night" levels. I think there's some memory-eating problem with the dark cloud. Other than that it's by far the best tower defense game, addicting and funny. Thank you Iriysoft!

Brotip for the barbarian levels on Night mode: you get a brief circle of vision after destroying the pillars. If you're quick, you can get towers in otherwise inaccessible locations.

sorry but i have to say this: Cursed Treasure 2 misses a great thing present in Cursed Treasure 1..... THE EXPANSION PACK! amazing game

also have to agree with kactus, losing your saved game is something YOU or YOUR SETTINGS ON YOUR COMPUTER, whether they be the internet options, firewall, anti-spyware, anti-virus, etc., those are some of many of the causes of deleting cookies, which contain your save files. Don't want to lose your save files? Have to change those options to allow/save cookies rather than destroy each individual one upon closing the browser, or in the case of anti-virus, tell it not to destroy the ones from kongregate

"that one boss" wasn't that bad, I play with the trackpad and it was easy (and a good setup can kill the creatures in the eggs with little effort clicking on some of them), the final boss on the other hand...

I love this series but having to click all the eggs that one boss drops is horrible for anyone using a trackpad instead of a mouse or anyone with a slow computer (which is why we play tower defense type games that are more strategy based rather than speed based).

If you are losing your saved game it is something YOU or your computer are doing, because your saved game is located on your computer

The game is good enough that I didn't losing my saved game stop me the first time it lost my saved game. The second time I lost my saved game I moved on.

Also, one more thing to add, on boss stages, if you're not near max mana, don't waste it on trees to get gold. Build a lot of towers, then upgrade them as you get gold, quantity of quality. You'll want max mana at the end to rain down fears and meteors. Don't click potions unless you have to, save them for the spell spam at the end.

Tips for getting brilliant: Make sure you have 70 mana at all times (140 mid way through, 210 later) for fear. That will save you from that one pesky enemy that slips through. Try to set it up so you can have the Ice Crypt, Catapult Den, and Temple of Hellfire able to attack near entrances. That combo will kill basically everything in the game. However, make Shattering Crypts, Bunker Dens, and Temple of Ifrits in the back to quickly pick off and fear any enemy that slips through. Lastly, the instant a map loads, get the Mana Pool, it pays off quickly. Message me for any questions, I've got all of the badges and would be happy to help.

@waanoname there is a way to do just that. While in a level, click the menu button in the bottom left, then unselect the "Hold to Speed Up" option.

Because the Night version is harder, how about having the game give you brilliant in the day version if you get in the night version, instead of having to go back and play it again.

I love this game. I've played all the versions, and this one, personally, i think it's the best of all. I've been playing this one for a week, and i can't stop playing it! LOL! It's a very addicting game, and that is one of the thinks I like about it. It's true that it would be nice to have some other options like quality, the different ranges of the tower upgrades, or for example the lag in chrome. Talking about the lag, some days i've ran it perfectly well, but other days i had to give up and stop playing because of the lag problem. However, I continue thinking that is an awesome version of the game, and one of the best of tower defense i've played! Thanks for make it free! I'll be waiting the new version! Good luck!

Pfft, when I originally played through this I thought "Ya know, I'm really, really happy that they didn't do something dumb like make an achievement for getting all brilliant ratings or whatever. Otherwise I'd be much more affected by stuff like divers that appear to be solely designed not to actually get away with my gems, but just to grab them and ruin my rating, which would really piss me off and leave me with a bad taste in my mouth regarding the game overall. It would've just been really un-fun. So I'm glad they didn't do that!". Well, needless to say they went on ahead and added that in later on, so now I AM pretty annoyed. How the hell are you supposed to deal with level 20 without anything touching your gems? Idk, regardless, I'm rage quitting for the moment.

would be nice to have low quality options, optionally remove some of the splash effects or something, for my poor underpowered laptop...

Base damage formula is broken, making the first (or couple) of demonic upgrades overpowered. I mean, e.g. delay is calculated to hundredth of a second, but base damage is in wholes, so e.g. temple damage jumps from 2 to 3. Less noticeable for bigger base damage, but it's still way more than "+0.5%" it claims on the skills screen.
I'd suggest to revamp damage and enemy HP to take into account tenth of a point. Base damage would display it, but HP on could just omit this.
