@LForce Squishy has it right i agree 100% not only is this the same game other then different maps but furthermore they call it a "level pack" which to me means addition to the original but yet i have to start from scratch ? Its the same game with the same skills same towers just new maps. Heck they didnt even take time to create new sfx or music.

We all know this is going to get achievements so just give them to us already!! Also, a little preview of the next Cursed Treasure would be appreciated! I know you guys got enough attention from the first one it's worth it :D

I have been playing gemcraft lately seen this came out and immediately switched backed to cursed treasure. I must say I am a bit dissappointed that i have to start all over and my skills from the original dont transfer to a "Level Pack"

Okay, now I have the high scores in enemies killed and gems saved. I can say that this is the most addictive game ever.

@Squishy
This is a level pack. It is SUPPOSED to have almost the exact same things as the original game, since it is only an extension to the original. If it were a sequel, then yeah, your argument would be valid, but since it is only a level pack, there really isn't anything you can say other than it has new maps.

I liked the change from those one guys having the %chance to dodge and attack with %chance to take less damage. No telling how many times one of those guys screwed me over from getting perfect because 7 towers missed him in a row. And, it's fun, I don't know why this tower defense game is so much better than all the others, but it is.
I'd like to see this but set in a future or modern setting. Heck, I'd be happy with just a reskin like that, with spy's replacing ninjas stealing my intel from right under my clueless Bazooka (Balista) tower's nose.

Yes, I kept accidentally pressing space trying to pause the game, only to have it summon the next wave instead x_X. Good thing you can't summon a wave until you killed the last one, or this mistake would have likely been fatal. :P

Has all the same problems as the first game, requires PERFECT tower placement. Skill system is odd, and slow. I personally do not like this game. But hey if everyone else does, you got to give the people what they want, right?

So they have managed to create a "new" game where the front screen is those (damned) ninja's that we now hate. Other than that, I do not think they did that much other tha----OH MY GOD! ACHIEVEMENTS!

Clearly a reactionary tactic to the new Gemcraft release from the folks behind the highest rated game on Kong, but who cares?

Why is everyone giving this game such good ratings? It is the EXACT same game with different paths for the levels. There is nothing new except for the achievements which takes all of one hour to add to a game. We should not be encouraging game makers to repackage their games without trying to make new content or improve on what they already have. It is a shame that so many people will see that a good developer made a game and automatically rate it up without holding them to a standard.

i think the achievements should give some rewards. small bonuses that pertain to the context of the achievement (ex. dread lord-kill 1000 enemies. would give a 1% damage increase to towers). it would be a nice reward for achieving the achievements.

Still issues with experience and rate of fire. The evileye temple gets significantly less experience than the other fire tower. I'm not so sure how frenzy and the orc fire rate increases work with this, but it seems like it'd only get worse. This is the most blatant one since evileye has trouble reaching beholder even if placed optimally with chilling towers giving it extra shots, but it's true elsewhere. The mana drain temple gets better attack rate, but since it only gets 16-17 experience versus the chilling temple's 25 per shot, it also gets lapped.

This game is pretty fun. It actually incorporates a sort of reason to all the fighing- them trying to steal your gems and you trying to protect them- rather than just running back and forth for no apperant purpose. Nice graphics and the music really helps keep the player intrigued throughout the 15 in-game levels. One of the only games of which there wasn't a single glitch that I could find when I played the game. Enjoyable to play through the entire game. Achievments helped boost moral. IriySoft, good job on making yet another great strategy tower defense game! 5/5!
