I found a small bug :s
@Before
I was playing the muted version. I had an item I could upgrade (Enchanted Pole). I clicked the upgrade button to view what it would become, but eventually clicked the back arrow.
@Bug
After clicking the back arrow I was unable to equip any item, unable to start a level and unable to hire a hero.
@After
I went to the homescreen and saved the game (successful). After that I refreshed the page. The game started as normal and I was able to perform all actions again. So refreshing the page seems to fix it for now.

Better inventory management would make a huge difference to playability. I'd really like to be able to view heroes separately by class, sorted by rank, and with equipment filters for individual skills.

Maybe you could implement some end of level bonuses such as:
Kill all enemies - double gold reward
No damage taken (per character) - double experience

Okay, so a few pros and cons. Unfortunately though, the cons are gamebreaking.
Pros:
Fun game, lots of customization
Cons:
No online save, lost my save.

cool game :) you should maybe make it a little more obvious that you can also use the keyboard, I was gonna complain that it simply wasn't there untill I found it by accident

Items filter by stats would be a welcome addition. Or else had to scroll thru lots of items to find the one that gave me the highest leader, rate or shooting stats.

The spike trap hitboxes are way too large. Walking anywhere within a few steps of one activates it, and your hero takes damage even if he did not step on the trap. This breaks a lot of the levels, and frankly im done with this game until that gets fixed. Was the game too good for you, and you needed to make in unplayable somehow to compensate? Or are your devs so brain-dead they can't visualize characters walking onto hazards properly? Either way, this game should be avoided.

Hey Iriysoft! enjoying the new game but I was curious if there were plans for a Cursed Treasure 3 in the works? I just finished replaying #2 and forgot how much I loved that tower defense game.

This is just a worse rework of one of their previous games, Band of Heros, also on Kongregate. They simple dumped it again with premium currency really. Play the previous version for a better experience.

@mrverball leader for shamans gives an extra spirit thing to a max of 5. leader for wizards and rogue add more lightning bolts and daggers respectively, though its harder to visualize as they hit guys faster. shaman shooting incrases thickness of beam, Theif increases spread in the 2 attack combo that he has by 2 at a time i.e. 1-1 1-3 3-3 3-5 5-5 Wizards get an extra hit on the chain. most everything else is rather intuitive, with the sole acception of warlock/chief (I forget which) speed buff on leade skill being the only point in the gam character movement speed is mentioned.

SO, having nearly finished the available content (that last boss is a bit of a pain) I have some suggestions.
The first of which is - if you don't have enough dev resources for at least a bare bones story, don't release the game until you do. Game badly needs at least *some* story.
Secondly, explain what all the numbers do. How does improving attack help me? What does rate do, exactly? What's the difference between leader 1 and leader 2?
Thirdly, the game is reasonably fun but pretty grindy. Not sure how to fix that problem, of course, but...it sure is grindy.
Fourth, for the love of god have some easy way to convert garbage into money or not garbage. So many clicks!

Great going with removing the healing/cooldown timer. However, the game feels like a stripped-down version of earlier games in the series. There's no sense of character or personality, no plot, the maps are repetitious, the traps only annoying, and there is SO much grind just to get a bland +1 attack that none of it feels worth it. The earlier games felt dynamic and attributed at least some personality to the characters.

What am I fighting for? It would be nice to have a story behind the war. I don't like to fight just for the fun. I would like a reason. An enemy to defeat at the end. A cause to fight for.
Very good point, unfortunately we had to skip story because of the dev time restrictions... Will add if the game has a major update (or maybe a mobile build who knows...)

The game is so much more fun without the healing delay. Thanks for listening to the players! I've surged ahead, although now I'm blocked by the mysterious unexplained "max XP" problem.
There is a level cap and we can't remove it. The reason: if/when we add new levels, we want to make sure that these levels won't be too easy (meaning not fun) because the player has heroes of very high level.

Okay, please-please-please-please move the bloody options/gear button from the bottom right corner (this is while we're playing a level). It's in a horrible spot. If I'm dodging enemies and move to the far right and activate the leader skill, the last thing I want to happen is for the options menu to pop up.

Super annoying that your skill is activated if you pause the game, since there's no way to unpause without clicking. Even though I switched it over to keyboard controls, changing tabs always activates the skill. Long levels with "no skill" missions are dreadful.

This is the same mechanics than Battalion Commander and almost a copy of Band of heroes. But the two others are far better !

1) Need to make user friendly menu for equipment and heroes.
-a- give some sorting options for equipment: by rarity, by effect etc.
-b- allow to sell whole equipment stacks. Better yet allow "bulk sale". Something like a little checkbox on the equipment icon that you can click on every piece you would like to sell and then sell them all at once.
-c- something along the same lines for heroes. Currently the hero order keeps changing and I can't figure out why and there is no option to change it.

Strange waiting system. I'm afraid this will put off the players, who do not want to pay. Who would wait 3 minutes in front of his screen to be able to continue the adventure, while the playing time of the first grip is 5 minutes. 5 minutes because of a game play not very accurate: sprite too big balls, decor overloaded and level design lacking consistency. And yet, it changes the usual F2P. A slight adjustment and I dive into this game.

It's a little tedious to unequip items every time I attempt a "no items allowed" mission, then have to re-equip them afterwards. Maybe have a "Disable items" check box on the mission screen for convenience?

This reminds of a remake B29 Assault with more and weaker units. What happened to IriySoft? They used to make some of the best games. And please, for the sake of the player, lose the wait for heroes to heal.

I think auto-trigger skills, like the Warlock's fireballs-on-damage count as "skills" for the purpose of missions. Kinda annoying.

Just play Band of Heroes instead. It has the same basic gameplay without any of the bullshit like waiting for heroes to heal.

Still has so many bugs, not expected in an Iriysoft game. A few times after beating a level I get a complete screen where every char is named Bartholomew, they're all injured, and I've collected 9999 in every loot category.

Injury is a game-killer for me! Remove it, from a marketing point it drives customers away, motivate us to pay real $$$ for gems! make it fun!

I don't know if you could've told us any more clearly NOT to play than the stupid "injured" timer. You want us to pay for your game? Make it quality we WANT to contribute, don't try to extort us for the "privilege" of playing a game worse than the rest of the series.

It's pretty difficult to avoid being hit completely on a level, which is possible on other bullet hell games if you're good enough. Basically this makes passing levels heavily dependent on upgrade level.
Also, are there going to be more than 3 hero types? You've left so much room on that screen.

band of heroes was great but this is simply boring. Items are boring. Why cant i upgrade my heroes like in band of heroes? Money seems kind of useless. Item management is horrible
