I had a tank topple over, which I found kind of odd to program into the game as it doesn't seem to be used anywhere. I think it'd be great to actually implement more physics into the combat. Maybe being able to blow holes into the ground to alter terrain and knock over enemy tanks to prevent them from moving any further.
Also, PLEASE add a build menu button so we don't have to scroll back to the nearest factory. Crystal cave was a pain in the bum.

had a glitch for me in level 'double trouble' the tower on the right hand side, when my tanks approached the tower, once the tower started shooting at my tankis, they would flip over to the corner of the battlefield, still being shot to death, unable to move. it was a big tank btw

Great concept!
Tanks flying through the screen or just falling without any possibility to use them anymore is annoying, big tanks can not climb all hills though AI's same tanks can do so.
Speedup option would be great, pause button essential, return to base button for the tanks, build menu makes it sometimes impossible to control tanks.
After all- expanding would be great, more different upgrades, more different buildings, scenarios, perhaps level editor?

alright in response to my last comment, this physics glitch is too prevalent, i played the last level and every time my tanks got to the final enemy base, the base cannon pushed them off of the base and flipped them over.

It is really hard to gather some tanks at a base or such (which is needed for the last level IMO). The interface is just quite unfriendly for that purpose. Also the build interface gets messed up when one ownes many weapons.

hmm there seems to be a glitch. one tank accelerated too fast and flipped over. it couldn't move, but could still shoot. fix the fizzicks on this plz

You can exploit the money by just replaying the tutorial enough times. It should only be playable once, or not reward coins.

long gun is useless, when the bullets dont hits the top of the screen then miss anyway, its accuracy is pretty much 0.

and ways to work around them:
1: Tanks with the largest hull will flip over if they're shot while in a base, especially if it's the right-most base. Doesn't apply to smaller hulls. When raiding the last base, you’ll see all your huge tanks flip. Just build tanks with second-largest armor :)

2: Tanks that are too fast will roll over on hills or if built in a factory on a hill. This is especially annoying in the Double Trouble level. Just build tanks with no more than 3 wheels for that one. Also tanks with at least 10 armor won't flip except for the large hull, which will flip due to the flip glitch.

3: Long range artillery will explode in midair if they're shooting at their maximum range and won't tend to hit the tanks they're shooting at. These are only effective against slow-moving boss tanks when you park the artillery and let the boss slowly come to you. Artillery tends to be useless at all other times.

4: Flamethrowers are actually effective in this game :D Maybe they're over-powered, but who cares unless you're up against them? To defeat flame-throwing tanks, park a heavy machine gun tank uphill or on a hill crest and let the flame-thrower come to your tank. The flame-thrower won't be able to hit your tank this way. I do better with the heavy machine guns anyways.

Fun game, and well put together. But could use some polishing. My number 1 bug is the aiming. The long gun, for instance, is basically useless because it always misses. Also, lack of retreat, etc. But a solid 4/5, almost 5/5.

this game is awesome i finished it and the last level was very difficult though please fix the rolling over tanks though and make it easy to get all the best upgrades before the end.4/5

Game was really good. Flamethrower are o.p. if a tank falls down at a base it is really hard to kill. Retreat buttons should be added.

Even on the very first level the enemy is able to build more tanks than you without taking the money spawn tower. I don't understand how you're able to win. This game needs MORE interaction. I don't want to just sit here and watch these things crawl along the screen at a snails pace. Too slow. Too little interaction. Too out of balance.

this is a brilliant game! a welcome change from the norm. i agree with rrauwl that the point of the game is NOT being able to directly control the tanks... even the title suggests this. music and atmosphere also good.

This game is brilliant, great concept and great execution, 4.5/5 :D
However,
- Add a pauze button
- The tank part shop needs to be sorted in catagories and it could look nicer
- We should be able to build multi-turret tanks :3

I want to like it but there's too many problems: Final level does not scale in difficulty. The game goes from relatively easy challenges to extremely difficult. I often don't mind that so much except the other compounding problem is that re-playability is actively deterred by offering diminishing returns on prestige (aka money to buy upgrades) from replaying previous levels. Also, weapons should be more easily identifiable in the selection boxes when building tanks. The shape of the icons only goes so far. 2/5 and I genuinely hope the developer revisits this game as I find the build and release strategy quite enjoyable.

I would like to rescind my previous score, and adjust this to a 1/5. I just had a large 'tank' with two wheels get stuck on a hill. And then had a different large tank with 3 wheels inexplicably flip to behind the enemy factory where it died a ridiculous death. If this game gets achievements I will be dumbfounded as to why.

wonderful game, great idea. throwin it down as a favorite.... that said there are some design flaws that need to be fixed.
when the tanks are overlapping its hard to control them, maybe make it so that you can use number on a highlighted tank to control movement if clicking is blocked.
why did my tanks keep flipping at the right side of the last level?
in the next version try adding a challenge mode fighting harder and harder waves and keeping the coins that you have in tanks that are alive still or something. might be an interesting game play.
keep up the good work :)

I liked the game, but it could be alot better. The end was just lame. "Victory. You have won the game." And then, the flying tanks glitch annoys. In the last level one enemy tank spawned into my tanks. My tanks tripped over and the enemy tank flew all the way to my base and started capturing it (And I had no tanks in there.) Then, the game is still wayy to easy. I didn't lose a single level.

Excellent concept, actually enjoyable to play. Issues are like previously mentioned ones, and also if you buy a more advanced upgrade before a lesser one, the more advanced one should still be at the bottom. I bought the best wheels, then some lesser ones for balance, and I had to find the one near the middle that was the best. Regardless, excellent, a little tweaking and you definitely have one of the better games on this site.

I wouldn't call these tanks, really. Far too top heavy. I mean, I saw a tanks fall over from firing while on a hill, stopping suddenly, or even getting hit by another tank round. These 'tanks' are far too wobbly to be called as such. A definite good addition would be to set at what health the tanks retreat - 10%, 25%, 50% etc. Lower the center of gravity in the physics so they stop falling over, and increase the aiming AI. Something wrong when a tank can't hit a stationary tank because it keeps shooting over it. Get some keyboard shortcuts for the factories, some way to adjust the scroll rate (yay for scrolling back and forward when you have one factory at the spawn point on a large map) and stop having the build menu take up the entire screen, put it to the side or the bottom so it's not as invasive. These things are a real game killer. Very good concept but very poor execution. 2/5.

just a glitch or something and thing to change. glitch; death valley enemy tank went over big hill on right and popped up on my little factory on the left and tried to take it over. thing so change the top of the map shouldnt make long cannon shot explode.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Kind of a physics fail in programming, not sure how this got missed. Tanks won't stop progressing forward, so if they have high quality wheels they will literally flip over towers when shot. You can pole vault across the entire map this way. Sadly, this is the only trouble I had. Rest of the game was just restricted by coin rate, spamming flamers and slings. 2/5

What I did for runners:
One time I built two tanks, one to sacrifice and the other with flamethrower. Make sure you hold the first tank, so your tanks go together.
Later I did with one to sacrifice and put a simple tank with cannons behind it. I got lucky and survived, so I put a fast cannon behind it.
Speed seemed to help, but I wouldn't always afford it.
The couple times I beat runners, I went fast for the first fountain to build my second tank quickly, but I did not care to capture the factory until I killed the first runner.
