As I finished the last level, busting the final tower, my highest upgraded tank jumped and did a 360 flip O_o Anyone else tanks do that?

I like the game, but some annoying things are no retreat button and when an enemy captures one of my bases that is constructing a tank, i lose all the money for it and get no tank

I belive it is a great game. I agree it needs a lot of improvement. Buts its one of those classical and modern kinda tank games. And for starters there needs to be a retreat button. Also a wider variety of tanks. And the money you have left at the end of a match shoukd go towards upgrades along with the usual bonus. Also you should be able to sell tanks and combine them to make one of those ones with like four guns on the tops. All in all i give it a 7.5/10

i think all the things that the people say this games needs; retreat button, keyboard shortcuts, control of aiming. These are the reasons why this game is unique, the creator left them out on purpose. It gives the game a need of strategy.

I agree with a lot of the long constuctive critisism comments, but what I find most irritating is the blurry edges. It hurts a lot, because some people, including me, have a tendancy to look at the edge when they play. This causes headaches and stuff. Removing that would make the game better from the start. Overall great concept. 3/5 (damn blurry edges!)

Good game.It could use a minimap for overall veiw of map along with click to go screen control. It needs a retreat button on tanks, better tank selection method, and more variety of upgrades

Take out the physics (beyond projectile tracking), it just gets in the way (tanks tipping over randomly is not fun at all). Improve the firing AI and the UI (trying to change a tank's orders when they're at a factory is pretty much impossible) and you'd have a really nice game.

Like others said - the game could need some more gameplay polishing (e.g. speed of the early levels) and is a pretty nice idea.
4/5

This game has so much potential but the little things drive me crazy! I HATE controlling the tanks movement. That alone makes me hate the game.. Besides for that, the accuracy thing is kind of frustrating and it really could use some additional parts.. These things make this game very average..

The first time the enemy started out with a bigger gun than me, I was completely obliterated. It was a great game but nearly impossible to get past at that point since it was just them building more tanks and pushing forward.

9) The build menus will go off the bottom of the screen when you get more upgrades. This causes a problem when - for example - you have the peashooter, cannon, light machine gun, and flamethrower. If the peashooter is already selected, the flamethrower (and anything after it) will be off-screen. You have to click and select something in the middle to even be able to see the later options.

7) There's a similar click-through issue with building - if there's a tank behind the build menus where you click, you could change it's AI.
8) Most of the upgrades are useless. As other users have said, the flamethrower is overpowered. The bomb launcher seems completely pointless - sure it does more damage than anything else, but compare it with even the light machinegun. 3 damage, at 0.37 firing rate (shots/sec?) and 30 accuracy. That gives an expected damage/second of about 0.333. The light machinegun will give 0.625 damage/second (less damage, but *MUCH* faster, and almost twice as accurate). When the light machinegun only costs 2 coins, and the weaker bomb launcher costs 3, I'm *never* going to use the bomb launcher.

Ah, a couple more:
5) Mass controls. If I have tanks standing ground at a base to wait until I amass a force, it's difficult to get them moving together because they all overlap, and the "AI" buttons don't always overlap exactly (some may start moving, some may go into the overrun mode, and some may stay in stand ground). This brings me to...
6) Clickthrough on the tanks is annoying. If I try to stop a tank where I already have another tank stopped, the click registers on *both* tanks, and can cause the one that is stopped to start moving, unless I *time* my click so that it hits *both* as stand ground (even though the first tank is already standing ground.)

Great concept, but there are TONS of issues:
1) Trying to stop a tank in front of a base you own is a pita: the base's build popup will come up over the tank (particularly noticable in Dragon's Lair), so it's impossible to control the tank until it moves away.
2) It'd be nice to have a pause button.
3) It'd be nice to be able to have tanks default to something other than the normal behavior (particularly, stand ground - great for defensive tanks).
4) Scrolling is agonizingly slow in longer levels (the first cave level in particular - there's only one base to build from, at the beginning... and it's painful to scroll all the way back, and away from the action, to build a tank).
I may post others as they come to me...

The came was pretty good, but needs some adjustments, there should be more commands to use and it would be very fun if you could control certain tanks. I also found the "Boss" fights were kind of boring and easy. Overall a good game, but has some MAJOR room for improvements.

I agree with a lot of what's been said. I think the game needs a better interface, more control over game aspects, and I'm not much of a fan of the music, which reminds me of for some reason Earthbound's. A storyline would also be nice, and a few other odd changes would be helpful. But I also like a lot of things about it. The upgrade options are fairly wide, and I'm kind of reminded of tower defense games with the whole setup, which I like because it encourages some number crunching, but I actually think I enjoy it more than most TD's as it's faster paced and I don't get as bored, and when map changes come I don't feel the accomplishment is as meager as in TD's. Needs improvement, but I like the core strategy a lot. 3/5.

Great game, but some annoying areas that sometimes take away from the gameplay! Like, mostly, the inability to select a tank you want by clicking it, the hover over technique mostly select the building, and if there are a few tanks guarding the base, its hard to select which you want. Defenitely need a return to base option. Also, I had three 15gp tanks cruise over to an unguarded base, and they all sat there taking it over, until in 3 shots the base was able to knock all three onto their roof, and slowly let them die! This is a bit annying... even more than a bit even!

great game, love the setup and the idea, there should be a second that includes a longer campaign and a few more upgrades. also an idea is to put in another set of green tanks so there is 3 teams, or neutral buildings that will fire at both teams

OK, after playing this a bit, I have a few suggestions:
1) Pause button! Sometimes I can't play all the way through at once, and would like to not get killed while I work on something else
2) A minimap showing location of friendly and enemy units/buildings would help greatly.
3) Allow WASD/arrow keys to move the camera (or allow clicking on the minimap if that's added)
Other than that, love the game!

Very nicely done. Simple mechanics extended well to make enjoyable gameplay. I'd like to see the new tank parts doled out a bit more slowly and the campaign extended, but that's really just so I can play it for longer. Thumbs up.
