Nice game. Reminds me a bit of the great classic 'Z'. Flamethrower is way overpowered at 15 DPS, compared to the other weapons' DPS: 0.75, 0.75, 1.25, 1.11, 1.5, 0.8, 1.68. It's the first thing I got and it made the game too easy. It should cost the most prestige and add a lot to the tank cost.

Decent game too slow imo and the aiming is terrible. The accuracy stat seems odd. I mean the plasma gun has 80 accuracy is that 80% chance to hit? Cause it sure didn't hit 80% of the time. It would also be nice if the gameplay was somehow faster. I don't know how you would make it faster though. In the end I was able to easily beat the entire game with the plasma guns.

Guns with long firing rates take forever to aim. Overall, there are too many bugs, and too much room for improvement.

Great potential, but you fixed the whole gameplay in that certain intriguing automated way that you found, instead of letting the player choose what they want to do.
It fails at makign the player more balanced against A.I (it's still the most banal tactics that go to the player's advantage here - amass many tanks then attack at once) it makes for a game that is more to watch than to play, so although there were some cool choice making moments I spent way too much time just staring at the game running with nothing to do. And the flamethrower is the only best/crucial upgrade in the game. And there's a bug where your tanks flip upon building for no apperant reason - and they only rarely get up again. Also the scrolling is WAY too slow for the larger maps. Please fix these issues.

Great game but needs LOTS of work.
First needs more upgrades and
the tanks look to wierd.
need like a more cooler tank.
You need types of skins like camoflage
or red tiger.Need TYPES of guns and stuff
like that,3/5

I like the aesthetic and the music is really some of the best I've heard in a game.
I'm going to have to agree with some of the comments though. The game is good but it could be great if we had more control (retreating for example). It's not that the game is hard, but the tanks are so dumb, it feels like when we're losing, we lose for reasons outside of our control. That's different from it being frustrating because it provides a challenge.

for those having trouble with the runner level. Which in my oppinion is by far the hardest level in the game. Build fast tanks with flamethrowers, since your opp will kill with one shot don't worry about hp. I built tanks with level 3 wheels and flamethrowers and usually this killed the skull tanks without them being able to get a shot off.

pretty good game, but you forgot two things that i think are very, very important. The retreat command, and a PAUSE BUTTON!!!!!!!

Tanks fitted with a flamethrower stops just short of firing range rather often. This happens even in downward slope. They just stand there having a shootout with tanks with longer range. I can understand if long range tanks can beat firethrower tanks by retreat + shooting them, but i don't want to fail because my own tank doesn't realise it's own firing range. :/

The problem is that the AI to retreat is too strong, makes it almost impossible to actually gain any ground at all. Would be better if the tanks couldn't recharge.

I liked the game very much, but like some people mentioned it feels like it's missing a 'back to base' command, and when you have a tank in front of the building it's hard to give it commands because the building menu gets in the way. Other than that, it's a great game.

Excellent concept. Looking forward to second version. I hope more weapons/parts and certainly more controls will be available.

The game doesn't save progress as you pass levels. It needs the option to save between level (in case your browser crashes, you shouldn't have to play levels again...

My tanks all seem to shoot at the ground. It makes for very frustrating play when two of my tanks get destroyed by a one hp enemy that stops outside my range, and then retreats while still being able to hit me.

hated having my tank sitting at an enemy base trying to take over only to have a bullet flip the tank onto its roof and away from the base, meaning I had to create a new tank while my old one sat there unable to attack

Awesome game, though it might need some extra features, as it has very low replayability. my advice is semi-random map (as skirmish) with selectable amount of mines and factories, atack, versus or defence modes, and difficulty modes.
And of course, maybe some visable plot, instead of just area names.

It would be nice if the tanks aimed before they fired their shot, and not after, it would make them alot more accurate.

The 'flipping on their back' is pretty annoying, also I found it very easy, I just bought some high level upgrades, then mixed and matched, never replayed levels. Concerning this, it'd be nice for new parts to show in order of price, instead of order of purchase.
Tank control is also very hard, gotta hover/click very quickly, as a system its not very user friendly, perhaps if you use space to pause or something, and then let you que commands for when you unpause.
Lastly: no quality controls, even though it dont bother me anymore for playing speed, I still think its VERY bad programming practice. You have a valuable user-friendly option in flash for quality, and you just remove it, very dumb.

Btw, please don´t change the IA, it's not only fun see it learning from trial and error but it also makes the game funnier to play. Specially in this somehow TF2 like world...

great game! Easy to understand and control. The strategy itself is what tank to build, that was really good. It was hard to notice how each turret can support another because there was no inicial comparisson. Like been able to see a MG turret and a Cannon turret before starting to play. The only thing missing in this game is the RTB - return to base - option. Anyway great 5/5
It would be interesting to see more realistic models of the tanks just to see how the concept would react.

Very fun -- good waste of a few hours (?). Most frustrating part -- when a 25x health tank with fully upgraded wheels is sitting directly under an enemy factory turret, and the turret shoots down, the tank is flipped over and usually stuck. That and the lack of retreat button.
