Don't use hint on last difference, last level, or it will "bug out". Last difference is supposed to be most leftmost/righmost building, but ir doesn't change colour correctly when the graphic sequence is activated.

I used to play this game 12 years ago at work in my night shift. The emptiness of the night with human structures has something so soothing and mysterious. Combined with Trent's music, that is perfect. This is a perfect piece of art.

awsome game...anyone else a bit creeped out by the music at the deer people level...
Very artistic, like a interactive artwork...

That moment... when you just stop thinking... and then you click everywhere... without hinting on the second-to-last difference.

HOW TO SOLVE THE BUG ON THE LAST LEVEL:
The bug on the last level is triggered by using a hint. Do not use a hint on the last level, because it breaks the game and does not allow you to get the badge.

is it just me or is there really a short black line next to the peace sign on the right screen on the last level after the sun has got out?

The game just bugged on the level with the couple watching the sunrise. I used my "hint" on the last difference and can still click it, but the game wont move on. When i click the building (both of which are currently blue) it flashes orange then changes to back to blue."

Vote it up, people.

I had to laugh when the guard-rail came down to let the giraffe cross. And, also in a previous scene with the train going past some houses - there are NO tracks for it to run on!!!?

There should be a mouse on both sides of the screen, it helps a lot with these games. Of course, that's a stylistic choice, and just my opinion.

Wow.. This game just made me officially happy all night. Thanks for making such a wonderful game, I had fun just watching the scenery. The game has two downsides though.. The two downsides are the level with the blurry/gypsy type place.. and the goat on the subway. The goat on the subway I assure you will give me nightmares, however, its worth it. I look forward to playing this game again. :)

It's rather hard to put my thoughts regarding this game into words, I'm simply left speechless at how this game is able to affect me. Perhaps it is simply my love of night, the sights and sounds associated with it always felt calming, relaxing. This game helped bring all that to life, the emotion itself. It feels like you're progressing through a dream, step by step, given all the odd situations you can find yourself in. From looking up at the stars, to bustling streets, from observatories, to the suburbs. Calm, yet slightly depressing, this game is beautiful. Simply perfect - 5/5

People are right that Q+W+Right Arrow (press at same time) will skip you to the last stage to make the badge easier. If you go to far (if you see the end screen) just use Q+W+Left Arrow and it'll back you up.

I hate the hint system. It doesn't actually show you where the difference was, just mystically reduces the counter by one. :(

I really enjoyed the music, despite being dissonant with some of the scenes. I especially enjoy the very first soundtrack. In fact, I open the game just so that I can listen to it.
Is there any possible chance that you could include a link for the music?
The game itself though, is hard. I can never really figure out the last difference of some of the scenes. Pressing H to help with the last difference doesn't help me in figuring out where it is.

you have no idea how much that game inspired me lol. played it 10 years ago when I was a kid. now I'm 23, finishing art school, being a graphic designer just like I'd wished back then. your game was one of the games that inspired me to continue practising art, just wanted to tell you this. the visual and musical synergy of the game is heavenly. everything fits perfectly. I'm not sure if those worlds are real, or if you designed them, but they're one heck of a spectacle. thanks again man, I hope you're still doing some creative work. your website's dead, maybe there's some other one that you have your stuff on. or a blog or something.

I'm not sure if it's because i'm a depressing person--but I play this game to calm down xD well the finding difference still frustrated the crap out of me but the pictures and music and all that is just really eccentric and i like the atmosphere of it xD
