I hate this. Precision is 60+ and my I have a -14% chance to hit. Tried over 20 times to hit the melter and haven't even touched him >:( How do I change this?

bosses hints:
1st boss = 1st time i kiled em in 4-5 hits from the first try. but after flash stuck in chapter 4 i needed 50 trials to kill em again. just use 1 shield to get close enough to charge distance, then hit and repair. should work.
2nd boss - buy 3 shields to stand against flames. then you just need repairs to withstand the damage. 1-2 nitro could be useful to nail em, and don't forget about blaster special.
3nd boss - actually charged forward and crited him to death, but thats thanks to my 60 agility.
4th boss - had no chance to face em :( game collapsed without save.

dont waste on agility? huh.. actually got 70+ agility after 3 chapter. NITRO + Charge = instagib.
Defence only cut damage, while if i have agility i dont need to spare points on heath - nmy missing(all but flamethrower).
Disapointing that bosses have far less precition and yet still hitting me even with crits. Something wrong there.
All other bots just eating crit by crit and dying in 1-2 hits.
not like strategical distribution, but at least 2 points on Agility and 1 to presition. others are chrome and something else.
no missing and every hit is critical. i like it!

it is so annoying how the bots have 3 repairs in the beggining, so ur about to kill it and it repairs all of the damage u just did, and they attack after repairing

This isnt fun at all. Theres zero strategy, its all about the perfect stat build. Which his high Def Power and Accuracy. So theres no point to this game. its stupid

nvm on the other comment. i beat him. Just a hint on how if you need to is that you buy all repairs and then repair as much as you can in between his flame. He runs out after three flame shots. just make sure you have more than 750 hp so you dont get 1 hit. after his flame shots, he isn't very good and you can kill him.

a hint to winning: wait 1 turn then charge the opponent and make sure they dont charge you. if you successfully charge, you get a big advantage but if they charge you, you might lose, so you should try to outrun the enemy if you ever think of going back

I beat the entire game having 14 speed, 60 agility(This is useless in the higher parts, as anything above round 3 has more precision), 100 precision and 90 grit. The other stats I never increased. In exchange, I never unlocked all items, though I never had the need to either. For all boss battles, have shield ready(Except Broken Damage). If you shield, they will only deal 1 damage, no matter how high it would normally hit. Use ranged against them, and shield every round, so they can't do squatt to you. Don't always buy the next thing on the list, just because you can. Sometimes it's smart to save, because the next item won't get cheaper, just because you buy the one before, and you can only sell items for half their original worth, hence a loss. I never bought the 1'500'000 weapon, but got the 2'500'000 none the less. Also, always check what your current equipment has, and what the next one will give.

High grit, and a speed of 15 with a pair of legs/Rollers that increases your speed should get you to Broken Damage instantly without him being able to take advantage of having a ranged weapon. Other than that, have a high grit, and possibly some precision. Don't waste points in strength, you'll regret it later on. One point offers 4 points to additional damage. It might be helpful in the begginging, but once you get the big weapons(Anything from 25'000 and up), it plays little part.

for those who have trouble beating the game: dont spend much on agility or speed, they are worth far less per point invested. To make an unkillable robot stack defense, and make sure you have some hit. To get to the unkillable point you may need a bit of grit and a bit of chrome but not much, power can be usefull in the beginning too, but later on it effect is negligible.
In the early fights the special items (nitro . shield and repair) are relatively expensive so dont use them unless needed. in later fight, you get over 100K per fight even a loss will pay back those items more than 5 times back, so use them whenever you feel like it.
nitro DOES work on you special weapon, and since until near the end it has the best damage and chance of hitting its a good thing to spend the nitro on, unless you need to shield because you are facing a boss
even in my first game I had more wins than losses in the end, if i'd replay I think I would be able to avoid several more losses.

very challenging and fun, only thing I don't like is that you have to gtrind the boss 30 times before you can take him down.

i dont think it wise to have a character be able to one shot you before you can move close enough to even hit him jsut doesnt make sense to me
