I'm not a fan of the inability to reset points, as many of the things you can put points into are utterly wasted. Also once you pick a spell variant the other is permanently off-limits so ... f anyone who wants the ability to compare them?

I can't discern which ones I've completed twice or three times for the final achievement. The difficulty is underwhelming if you use your upgrade points on anything. Excellent game overall though

The rush strategy appears to work pretty well in this game and can be kinda trivialised. There are a few cases where you might need to play somewhat defensively (on the harder difficulties where on the odd occasion it benefits you to have a plant on defence to tank hits while other plants whittle down the crystals) but asides that you'll rarely find yourself using spells and the like

attack quickly. the aliens aren't limited to a certain number of units like you are so if you let them grow too large you can't catch up

The entire game is trivially easy, even if you're abiding by the special challenge rules all the time for no reason. Should be adjusted so you actually have to use the feature that the game is named for. And defense mode is pointless since the enemies aren't strong.

It seems like the best strategy is always rushing the crystals. At harder difficulties if you try and turtle then the crystals will always power up faster than you can

@BastienL7 the badge is possible with the low cost fireball path! I did it myself. It just takes a little bit more patience!

@bastienL7 make sure you have set the level to basic (1 star) if you change your plant to fighting-mode at max level, your initial plant will (very slowly) attack the initial crystal. focus on healing your plant when necessary (always keep enough mana for healing spell) other mana for fireball. since the crystal won't regenerate, you'll succeed after some time

It is a great game (5 stars), but easy as well (3 stars)...If you maximise the fireball it is possible to get in one shot all the "challenges".
I guess it will be useful to reduce the fireball damage from 200 to 100 or similar or maybe reduce the experienced gained from the challenges

is the level with no building possible with the mana lowered fireball path ? (because with the power path you get the far plant just before her lv 3 so...) as you can't change the path it's may be an impossible badge for some people ?

skill paths are unballenced heal has the right example for more cost you get some extr healing but you have to wait longer but with fire ball at the end of either path fire ball does 10 dmg per mana spent so its easily the better choise to go for low cost so you dont over pay and overkill

Suggestion for anyone trying to do well ... anything
ALWAYS rush for your enemy first thing - you are more powerful then the aliens and if you let them build up it'll only be a royal pain to deal with them ... so don't

Pretty fun but needing to replay each map a third time was kind of overkill. Just extra busy work tacked on at the end for that last achievement, and the badge.

The last achievement I got was "Play each stage 3 times" and it was tedious because I couldn't tell which stages I'd covered.

Skip the first two challenges, as they're two of the worst in the entire game. Most of the challenges after the first two stages are pretty easy. Max regen, then defense, and the game pretty much crumbles away from there anyway. I'd suggest maxing attack and crit after that to speed things up. Don't even bother with spells early on - You won't have a lot of mana to play around with most of the game and the spells cost too much at early levels.

Stage 12, hard difficulty, conquer both wells to your right as quickly as possible. Because if you go to the left you will lose, enemy will have greater enemy respawn if they conquer all two wells!

Consider adding a button that makes the level all 2 star or all 3 star. When I'm going back through to get my silver and gold, it's tedious to keep checking every box. Otherwise, well done. I'm not finished yet, but some difficulty could also be added. 5/5
