Ok. I have played some difficult and cryptic games in my life. But this...is on such anther level of impossible. Ever after beating it..I don't get 1 single thing about most of the puzzles. This game is not AT ALL about logic because you don't have the first clue what the rules even are...what anything does or how it works. I'm just.. speechless on how..just..like the pipe puzzle. 1. Even with the poster, who the hell is going to see that and think to NOT connect all the pipes in a line. Then..if you somehow knew that... I still don't see the slightest pattern to it. And that's how they all are, I had no clue what I was doing..how anything worked..why it worked..nothing. It was only through tie and sheer luck I beat it. The level of difficulty doesn't come from logic or using your brain. It's exactly like telling someone to write down every word of a Shakespearean play in 6 different languages when they don't know a word of the languages or seen the play. Un freaking believable .

-lets make these 15 squares turn on and off other 15 squares
-but how will the player know which one affects which
-well trial and error i suppose
And several other puzzles are based only on that principle, just brilliant game design

After resorting to a guide to solve the puzzle, I have come to this conclusion: You solve the grid by clicking in the same spots the red squares are in on the note. The house and stick puzzles are self-explanatory. After that, the posters show clues what you're supposed to do. The "Peace Tank" means that you're supposed to dodge the UFO's attacks. The phone with the "No connection required" means that you're not supposed to have any pipes connecting. While the puzzles were extremely hard, they were possible if one had out in a lot of effort and time.

like the game 5/5 definetly but i think it would be cool if there was a few rooms that you have to get throught to escape and there was like 2 or 3 puzzles in each room but thats just what i think

It's sad a game like this gets more grief than praise. It's difficult to a degree, true, but that doesn't mean it's a stupid game. Puzzle games are designed to challenge the way you think; how you solve a problem. In my opinion, if people think a game is bad just because it doesn't give them explicit instructions how to win, then I don't really feel sorry for them. I know I sound rude right now, but that' just how I feel about this.

loose definition of "very obvious" you have. finding the posters doesnt help if you dont know you can and HAVE TO zoom in on some

you really need to know there are clues ... and to be honnest, even the (at the end) timing-based game remind me a game "for programers" (http://www.kongregate.com/games/Coolio_Niato/light-bot) ... the game does definitely not deserve his name of "casual"... so if you're stuck or you don't understand a clue, maybe you're more normal than dumb or hardly twisted... :x 2/5 for the huge mismatch between title and difficulty : games are not made to depreciate people on their own...

Really hard game, but I managed to complete it in two hours, although I used a walkthrough for the tougher puzzles. 5 stars!

For all you whining about the game not being casual, it is just a joke, there is a site. CasualGameplay, wich this game`s creator owns. So, CasualGameplay Escape. Capische?

Some of the puzzles were painfully obvious, others were just completely counter-intuitive, requiring guesswork or a guide (I had to resort to a guide for one puzzle that I spent almost an hour trying to solve). Trying to point out which it was without spoilers is even harder than the puzzles themselves.

For all you whining about false advertisement for Casual, it's called "Casual Gameplay *ESCAPE*". The point is to ESCAPE from all of the casual gameplay!

man with a book i noticed your comment and you arent right, the three pane man puzzle can be solved by logically thinking because you must find a way to lose times for the rays not to kill you or to time your stuff, though there do is some trial and error like in all we do...
