The piano may not be as good as a real one, but for those of us who do not own a piano or a keyboard...a job well done sir/ma'am. This virtual program is the best I have seen yet. With the nicities outta the way comes some constructive criticism. I suggest that you add major/minor. We only have naturals and incidentals. Plus I also suggest you add sharp and flat. It would make it more like the real thing. 5/5 :)

this game has great potential! the sound is great ( not like some others piano games around) and the edit feature makes this game to never get old! i only wish that i could change the keys, specialy because im playing it on a laptop...

the key mapping makes it totaly unplayable, make the keys remappable.
2/5 because its unplayable, but there is effort in it.

I dont like the game itself, but whoever added Rapyuta's (Castle in the sky) theme made this game worth looking at for some time :)
Would someone be so kind and implement http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OqcVIKQL7-g&feature=related ? THANKS :D
PS: Thumbs up if you want touhou piano music implemented :P

I've got an actual keyboard (electrical piano-ish thing) hooked up to my pc. Too bad I can't use it to play this game XD

i bet that 95% of the guys here who try to show how awesome their piano-skills are by writing some crap like "i can play all of the songs here with doubled speed in real life" actually dont have a clue what the hell they're talkin about :3 they probably can't even play twinkle twinkle :>

First of all, congratulations on the game , its AWESOME :D
But... (and there's always a "but" huh?)
Please, PLEASE listen to "ghettoleelewis"
Key mapping is really bad, unfortunately...
And, his FL studio idea is pretty good.
I believe it's the closest you can get in terms of mapping piano to keyboard.
Also, a custom key mapping is always welcome ^^
Again, the game is awesome, and has all to be even better !
Good luck, and great job so far!

It would be very nice if you could control the tempo of songs, especially custom ones, so the writers won't have to worry about their songs being fast or slow.

This would be fun with a piano keyboard, there is no discernable relationship between the location on the computer keyboard and the location on the screen. Might as well be a single-stream of letters to type.

the controls are pretty bad, i can play some hard songs on the keyboard at double speed (bored outa my mind) in my room, but i cant even play easy songs on this at half speed! having the ability to change the keys would help a lot, playing with the mouse is way to slow and requires too much accuracy, you cant even hit b/#'s with the keyboard when practicing...
the concept however is great, playing full songs on a full keyboard/piano and loading songs, it would make it easy to learn new songs or practice those you already know...
great concept but unplayable controls 2/5

Very interesting game idea, and I think that you should definitely make a sequel, or just keep adding on to this. It has a lot of potential. I only wish that this game was compatible with my electronic keyboard... But then again, that keyboard refuses to interact with my computer anyway, so I don't think it makes much of a difference.

It's an interesting concept, but it would be nice to be able to have a USB compatible keyboard function to actually play it like a real piano or focus on turning it into a rhythm game where typing words and sentences with matched timing to create a song.

Bad keyboarding. Bad bad bad. Here's a suggestion: Don't make the piano controls larger than the keyboard itself. Not only that, but it's not even laptop friendly.

To be completely honest I played exclusively in the free-play section. The sound quality is good, though after messing with the chords some of the sound ranges are a little wonky and some refuse to even play, like keyboard combo B A F. Some seem to be from a different recording set when you start hitting the numbered (1-9) keys. Not much you can do about the key scheme, given the number of keys - shift to play the half steps is downright awkward though.

Great game, but I'd quite like a function which lets me choose the shape of the incoming notes, for example triangles or some other angled shape instead of just hearts. I'll check now in case there's such an option that I haven't noticed. Regardless, I give this a 5/5.
