There comes a point in this game where you realise you're just not going to get to the end. Anyway, fun and short launcher game.

For those clambering for a "sequel," try Into Space and Into Space II. This seems to be a remake of that, using much of the same art, but with less responsive controls.

Amazin lots of fun although if you make a sequel (which you should) I would totally apreciate if it was harder, maybe more layers of different stuff idk it only took me 20 min. to beat. Awesome game 10 out of 5

A large problem in modern rocket science is the fact that the very fuel that the rocket runs on weighs it down, causing it to consume more fuel.
Obviously, the solution to this problem is to steer the rocket into magical flying fuel cans. Obviously.

Would've liked to keep playing after I beat it, so I could keep upgrading, and possibly outrun whatever killed me at the end :P

EBear420,mine did the same thing the 1st few tries. I just hit the left and right keys a few times prior to liftoff and it seemed to help...I just started the game tho

"Should we clear the airspace of the hundreds of spectators in hot air balloons?"
"Na, the ships got wings. They'll be fine."

"Watch out for balloons" the Whale said.
We laughed at his stupid remark... We should've listened.
We thought our rocket would get us into space, but we crashed into a giant party balloon that tore through our hull with ease.
Our rocket managed to hold together... until we were surrounded by balloons...

only suggestion i have is to change controls for the mini booster jet things, kept using them up by accident every time i went to change direction. any aspersions i had about this game were immediately removed when i saw the skifree yeti

The whale is warning me about space cheese... I think our rocketeer has already had a little too much space cheese himself.

Got the rocket stuck on one of these orange things in space, jumping up and down, no fuel to move away. Left it like that for a weekend - came back, self destructed and got about over $900k for the duraton. Full upgrades -> game finished the next attempt.

How do you beat the game? I mean, I've gone into space, avoided the aliens as long as I could, the height meter went as far as it could until an alien guy ate me.. I have every upgrade available... When the aliens eat me, I go to the credits. Does that mean I won or what? There is no definite ending here. Aside from that, it's a great game. I hate the orange balls in space. They suck.
