Unfortunately, the fancy light show that appears when killing enemies means it's very difficult to see what's an actual enemy and what's a shimmering reflection of the one you just killed. It's also very difficult to spot yourself, meaning you have to track yourself by your fire. That's not difficulty or skill level, that's just a design issue. The good news is that it's very easy to fix! :) The bad news is that it probably will make it look like the other 50 billion top-down shooters out there.

Simple, but still lots of fun. Great use of color and sounds! One thing that this needs is a bigger/ more visable cursor. With all the explosions and burst I lost track of where it was. Warning: Don't play if you have seizures easily.

1st try Beat all 50 levels, 1 life left. 2nd try beat all 50 levels all lives left. It's really not that hard. Tip: Corners are your friends :)

Easy way to get the hard badge:
Stay in a corner. You have enough firepower to destroy lots of enemies in a short time and you can not get attacked from behind there.

Way too much visual vomit, there do NOT need to be those colory explosions when enemies die. I can barely find my own cursor, let alone my ship

Just won the "Light Life Badge", which I personally think better named the "Sit in a corner and randomly shoot" badge.

Corners really are your friend, hard badge, didn't move at all once I got myself into a corner in the first level. Forget the upgrades, your basic gun is more than enough to get you through this.

Your biggest obstacle to the fight is not the enemies themselves but rather their explosive death effects blinding from seeing the next wave of enemies.

Cool game - wish the aiming reticule was a bit bigger. Also, enemies spawn on top of you sometimes, maybe check where the player is located before spawning the next wave. Aside from this, great game.
4/5 Wish it was longer!

The control scheme I love to hate. Even worse, the computer I'm presently using doesn't wanna let me use the mouse and WASD (or arrows) at the same time, making this much more than the pain in the ass it would usually be. FML

It's fast and pretty, but nearly unplayable since you can barely aim with all the debris cluttering the screen. Needs a larger and better targeting reticle. I was at least able to get the mouse cursor to appear in my game by right clicking in the game area.

Too much going on. All the extra shapes and colors flying at you that don't hurt you make it very hard to focus on what will. The game ends up being easiest if you just sit in the corner and refuse to move, which is kind of lame.

Guide to the HARD BADGE: Your ship has a slight drift to it, so take some time in level one to position yourself in the upper right hand corner of the screen and minimize your ship’s drift. Do NOT move from there under any circumstances, not even for power-ups. Aim at the center of the map and hold the click button, firing constantly. In this position, you are invulnerable. ALL foes will either impale themselves at a distance, bounce off of the walls into your line of fire as they approach, or in the case of the lavender diamonds, freeze a short distance away as easy pickings. Not even the small and fast enemies in the final ten levels can harm you. Adjust your aim as needed to pick off survivors. No foes will spawn under you, so all you need to do is wait the ~10 minutes that it will take to defeat all 50 levels without a single injury. This strategy even functions for those who, like me, only had a laptop touchpad for a mouse. Best of luck to all. Please +1 if you found this helpful.

I made it to level 39 before I realized that I could move. Turns out that just staying immobile in the middle and pointing from there makes it easier to keep track of the pointer too, go figure.

As it is hard to see the difference between enemies and particles, the best strategy indeed is to stay in one corner. There is no spawning there, you're protected on two sides, and you only have a quadrant to cover with your laser.
