what do you mean there was no climax!? how bout that epic fight at the end with the red and blue and black guys that were there throughout the whole game

Disappointing end, and not much different from the other two. Also it gets far too easy after a few skill upgrades, I managed to kill most things with just the range characters. When moving characters it's monotonous and if this is the last chapter it will be incredibly disappointing!

I'm sure it's been pointed out but I'll just repeat for emphasis. You shouldn't label skills as not being able to affect bosses if you don't include any bosses. The last one was a disappointing boss so I was hoping this one fixed that issue. I guess one way to fix that is to not have a boss at all, but that's a little extreme and makes the game just some boring dungeon crawler....and we all know there are too many of those out there already.

One thing that's strange to me is the Knight. I mean, he's the Knight. He should be able to move one space forward and one diagonally, even over other pieces. That's how a Knight moves.

Actually, those series are awesome, but are easy. I suggest making a forth one, with more opponents, make the dungeon longer, and have a strong boss. With those things, your game will be a litle bit better.

no boss, melee still outclassed by ranged, can't grind to max skills, you can't really even test all the skills out and still be able to do decent dmg. Implement a skill reset, ADD A BOSS, make melee classes have higher base walk distance and hp and they may be worth even upgrading rather than being meat shields.

The developer implemented so many skills in this game, but most of them were useless. He needs to learn to balance the skills before he makes a new game. 4/5 stars nonetheless.

Aside from the writing, this entire series is just clumsy, at best. I suggest taking up writing as a profession rather than game developement. :)

emon1313 I agree with you... hotkeys are buggy.... it will cast mass confusion with another character's action points..
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@ emon1313, that doesn't do anything for me, but I'm on Vista.
Also, I love the Flagstaff series to death, but there wasn't much story in this one. Don't get me wrong, the story that was there was hilarious, but it seemed like this game didn't have much to it. I want to see more of the Flagstaff series, but 'clear this dungeon, clear another dungeon' without even a bit of story or funny comment between is going to get repetitive too fast. And its been said, but no final boss is pretty lame.

@langlect: I suspect you have forgotten to assign your skill points. Click "Skills" at the right hand side of the experience bar atop the page then click on the skills you want before you start the dungeon. Hope this helps!

Idk if this is a bug or not, but whichever char I used when I press 5 on my keyboard, it will cause mass confusion without any cooldown (I have enable the skill first of course)..... I got through all the level without doing anything -__-"
I use mac with OS leopard, and never shut this game, (maybe this was the cause?? dunno), maybe just a bug I got from my laptop...

NEEDS TO BE HARDER!!! I got bored and didn't finish this one... great format and execution of gameplay and graphics and writing; just make the enemies interesting and plentiful.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Didn't feel like playing this(although I started to play it again 2 days later)after realising that the monsters are almost the same(rangers and guards) as the last two chapters. 3/5.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
wow. pointless ending. no boss no hurray... jsut to be continued... dont think i gonna play that again. too boring! Add something fresh. 3 different enemies? There is so much potential!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I think just a little monster variety would take care of most of the comments you're getting, maybe make 25% of the monsters 1 of 2 special elite types that are say 50% stronger. You'd only have to generate 2 more monsters (and they could even be knockoffs of the two you already have). All three chapters are much too easy. In this one you can just run the king around maxed out and as long as the priestess has 3 righteousness to help heal you, you're fine and don't even need to move the others. Knight and ranger could do likewise.

This is a decent game by itself however after two previous chapters of pretty much the same thing its not that good. I really hope the next chapter has a lot changed or added because my rating has gone down each chapter. i gave this one 3/5 and if another one comes out with basically no changes i will give it a 2/5. Its cool to do chapters of a game but if they are all the same it just becomes a bland drawn out series

Completing game with only one character is much more fun than with the all party. I prefer archer with king's "royal command" and priestess "righteousness", "heal all".

I Think This Is The Simplest One Of The Three Chapters. Chapter Two Should Be The Hardest. Because Here You'll Have A Lot A More Help, So It's Getting Easier. But If U Think That Away, It's An Amazing Game ! 5/5 ! I Really Like To Kinda This Games. It's Just About You'r Bran Ya Know :)

I really love this game, its a great idea and very cleverly made. But this chapter was too short, and I would have prefered it if there was a boss fight at the end. Still, great game and please make more!

I have a bug where no matter which moves i use (except each characters attack) will just do a mass confusion on everyone. I just use smite with the healer and all enemies just attack each other every turn, making it so easy. Strange.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I ran into this bug in the first two chapters the characters will not move. They some reason just stand in one place and continually get hit.
