I've figured it out. At the end of every mission it fades to black because you pass out from exhaustion from the long chase and after the police catch you they're like "Well, you were actually a good sport, you can keep what you stole. You only have to pay about $1000 for every civilian life you took. You can also have the money you stole from our dead cops."

yeah...for some reason i cant move the truck...i pressed every key to try to get it to work but it wont... anybody know how to fix this problem? it would be greatly appreciated

Meh. It's just the same thing again and again. I drive my invincible van down the arrow-straight road and the pathetic mortals in their flimsy vehicles bounce out of the way and die. After some pre-determined time, I'm declared the winner, regardless of how many cops are swarming round me. Every now and again, I'm told I haven't hired the right specialist (er, guys? the getaway driver is responsible for hiring, now?) so I have to play a mission again. But, no matter: level five is exactly the same as level six would have been so who cares?

BREAKING NEWS: The blackened remains of hundreds litter the streets of this Chicago highway, where what appeared to be a golden bus rampaged through the town firing green highly explosive projectiles at random. Civilians and police alike were destroyed as their vehicles blew apart beneath them. The death toll is currently 293 people. Of that number, 204 were civilians. A large reward is being offered for information leading to the apprehension of these terrorists....

I know I shouldn't . . . but it's so much fun knocking civilian cars into oncoming traffic and watching the huge explosions.

Qustion time:If the cops are shooting me, and if i already know from observing that the guns of a police car are designed to hit the tires, then why am i not stopping when i get bombarded with 20 bulets?

I liked this, but the levels never felt like they really got any more difficult. It was essentially the same level over and over again.

Whenever I've just been getting rid of police vans, I hate myself every time I mistake a ambulance for a police van. 4/5 really good game, Heist 2 is better though, UPLOAD PLEASE!

The funniest thing in this entire game is that the cops single you out as the bad guy, then proceed to drive even more recklessly then you do.

I got the Early Retirement Badge after level 9. Then I felt guilty for cheating, so I went ahead and did level 10 anyway.

The cops are the criminals here. They change lanes without signalling to cut me off, run innocent cars off the road, and cheerfully plow headfirst into oncoming traffic to get at the innocent black car on the opposite side. The only way to get them to murder fewer civilians is to ignore the road and spend as much time as possible in the median. Never mind that the traffic lights are all stuck on green and so the civilians do a fine job of killing themselves.
Yet somehow I'm the one who takes the blame for all the senseless violence.

Confirming the Medium badge at level 9. Though, I still beat level 10 out of good spirit. Awesome game, gets boring after missiles though.

I was too quick to submit. But buying ARMOR really helps you keep your stash. And you can either grind mission 1 over and over again. Or you can buy armor and mines/slammer and just ram anything (MUCH MORE FUN [and quicker] THIS WAY). Slammer is the ONLY side to side weapon and it's probably the best in all honesty. Mines/Mega Mines/Slick go BEHIND you. Not so useful if you got a good engine. And Rocket and Guns shoot in front of you. I like the GUNS over Missile. I never used the Missle (or Guns) until AFTER I beat the game. So, you really don't need anything more than Regular Mines or the Slammer and MAX Armor to max out how much take home pay / respect you get.

This game is fun for 10 minutes, but after that it gets boring because the game way to easy.
Also this game has a really dumb glitch: If you run out of time it shows a message saying 'time's up' you can click that message away and continue your escape and beat the mission while your time is 0,00.

you have to love it when you make a police car swerve into other lanes, and then crash into another car, resulting in a massive explosion that takes out all the cars on the screen...

I finished level 10 and it said to press CTRL to go on but it got back to the same 10 levels. Is this correct? I though it opened up other levels..
