Level 24 is just mean. You need to do a running jump off a downhill slope, but half the time running downhill makes jumps not work.

FireBoy and WaterGirl games are super fun platform games. The controls are good and instructions are clear. The animations are cute.

I understand the fire part, but...... isn't mud not very effective against water? Never mind about this game. Gotta catch 'em all!

1/5 game design is strange. played the tutorial level and was dumbfounded when it said "green mud kills them both", but the mud was black. i guess this developer was colorblind or something. the game's controls are unique for me. music is alright for 1 loop, but multiple loops hurt my ears from the high-pitched noises. this game just feels like a much worse version of "marisa and alice's trap tower remake". i dont really have much to say about this. in general, i give it a 1/5 because it just feels bad.

I wonder if I am the only person here who actually likes the combination of WASD and arrow keys for controls. It makes perfect sense for a game where you need to play both characters at the same time at times.

Is the mud really green lol and why they need seperate doors to go in did they realise that they are fire and water in the end LMAO!

The A and B ratings make no sense. Some levels an A is pretty much given, others you think you run as fast as you can, even play a bit of both at the same time and still end up with a B.

The only major issue is that the game doesn't tell you what you need if you want to get an A rank. A minor issue is that you have to pause the game then select restart, but I actually prefer that since it would be a big pain if I accidentally hit "R" like some people want it to restart the stage and I lose all my progress for the stage. So, 4/5 stars from me.

I love the concept of the game but the rankings, the lag and the lack of checkpoints or the R button makes this game an endurance test. Not bad, 4/5.

intriguing concept! gameplay could be improved though @@ no button for restart, and no way to know how to get the different grades

Fun concept but weighed down heavily by failable puzzles, timer, and ranking. I just like completing puzzles. The collectibles would be enough but too many ideas weigh this game down. Restart is also a big factor.

Keyboard only huh? Level select and restart only possible with the mouse. I'm sorry for this game, the slow, laggy controls are very frustrating, and (maybe the chrome issue plays a part in this but) every shadowy level has the GAME OVER sign floating on the screen, making those initally hrd levels even more difficult.

If you click the pause button in the game, it gives you the option to restart the level. Try to finish under a certain time to get the B grade.
