"Oh, well, ah... well, it's a long story, but let's just say that you should always remember to use a safe word. Ahem." hahahaha 5 stars just for that, the rest of the game just makes it even better

To rate this poorly due-to having to read is criminal. The writing avoids being bombastic. The grammar is nigh flawless, despite there being a lot of it. The story, characters, and dialogue are all enjoyable and full of humor. And, there's a definite moral to be taken from the story, despite it facetiousness. Rarely do I rate a full 5/5, but this, without an iota of a doubt, deserves it. A very endearing and praise-worthy work.

Everytime i click the wrong thing my last note disappears. I've lost the map 4 times now and had to go back. Now I'm stuck with the sheep and it won't let me click bye.

I love games like this. The first fifteen minutes of gameplay had me willing to give it five stars...until I noticed old beloved adventure game references. Mordavian garlic? I wish there were a sixth star.

Whats behind the wall, is it the path to the temple of gloop, is it a pirate, another monkey? We will never know.... :(

funny. while waiting for the game to load i watched big bang theory where sheldon says the capybara fact and it's there in the instructions. xD

This game was amazing! I absolutely love how everything from the tiniest eyeball in the forest to each character you met had a history for you to learn about, which truly brings the world to life. I can easily see myself playing this game again and again, just to relive this adventure in the Mountains of Oddness.

I first saw the somewhat childish art style as a downside, but as I read and played through it became a key part to setting the mood of such a beautiful story. All the elements of this game, the story, music, and art, all come together in a fantastic way to bring the player into this story. This is not just a game, but an artistic masterpiece. 5/5

There are people saying that this game needs voice narration. I disagree; part of the beauty of this game is the fact that it is like a book, with pictures in to stimulate the imagination, and the wonderful music in the background helps you relax into the story as you unfold the plot.
An excellent game in all, and I really hope that you make another game like this, because this is possibly the most beautiful and thought inspiring game I have ever played.

The breadth of the works referenced in this game is absolutely terrific. I especially appreciated the mention of Celephaïs, as Lovecraft's Dreamlands work is some of my favorite weird fiction.

Just finished this game, great journey, that's a very unique game. And it makes so much sense. Nothing is what it seems, let it be a lesson.

What a wonderful game! I loved all the references to all the old adventure games, particularly the Quest for Glory series.

I simply loved the game. The reading got me sucked straight into the story. Heck, I even clicked every single eyeball, book and bottle, just to make sure I saw every pun ^^. I'm feeling happy now :). 5/5!

There is a book in Dr. McShellfish's bookcase titled: Väärä Suomalainen ei ole mitään järkeä by Oudot sinappi. This is finnish and translates to: Wrong finnish isn't any point, by weird mustard.

I loved this game. It had just the right amount of difficulty, beautiful music, lovely characters and extreme attention to detail. It's like a puzzle, with all the pieces falling in place as you discover more about this magic world that coexists with ours. The humorous and philosophical parts of the game don't contradict each other. A salute to you JonasKyratzes and I will most definitely be playing your other games.
