Nice game. I love the progressive music as you advance in game
But I have one question: What is the difference between easy and normal? I played both of them to end and din not see any difference at all!

Possible make the second draw of the ship have a slightly different screen than when you open the top draw. I clicked that draws multiple times and thought i was always given the screen to the top draw so i never bothered to check inside, i was probably clicking the middle draw half the times lol. I had look at the walkthrough to figure out that you could actually open the middle draw.

I really love the idea, but it becomes a bit too much sometimes. The reason I love the cube escape games is because you can always see everything and it gives a bit calmer feeling to the brain. Even though it looks really beautiful, it becomes a bit too much for people who enjoys the thinking part of a point and click game

If you are here just for the badge, you can right click and click forward, this will register it as if you completed the game. I do recommend playing through the game though, it has an unusual art style and is in itself a nice game too.

A good game for the most part.
The drawers in the ship need work to be clear how to open them better.
If you are wondering where your red gem went, the yellow fish ate it, so you need to capture it.

OMG the game and the music is perfect! Played it a second time just to hear the music again :D Tried to find the song but I couldnt... anyone any ideas which songs were used?

So the puzzle with where the jewels go isn't really a puzzle because the game only lets you put the jewels in their correct place. I don't even need to look for or memorize the answer at all.

Great adventure! I did find out about the click and drag on accident, due to the fact that I played this on a tablet and used my fingers to "click" stuff. Great story, music, and art, so what more could you ask for?? Thank you!!

A really wonderful game. The artwork is simply incredible, and the music seems to fit the scenery well. The puzzles are challenging without being too difficult, which is wonderful. Can't wait for the next installment of this absolutely amazing series.

Great music, great art style. The game was fun to play, and you guys told a great story without having to use any words. Would love to see a full length game of this style made, and I would easily pay money to play it.

Loading time took longer than expected on my chrome, but other than that the game design was stunning. For those who found difficulty on focusing, note that the mouse turns RED when you hover over an item/place that you can select.

Just a few pointers: 1-Inside the sunken ship, in one of the drawers, click and hold the lobster to move it. Might be elusive in a point and CLICK game. :) 2-At the three chambers, start in the left one and look up; your clue to solving the middle chamber is above the opening in the middle. 3-In the locked room opened with a green key, you'll find a medallion of a fish. After you open a chest with it, the medallion is removable; you use it a second time. 4-The pink octopus you find goes into the octopus-shaped part above the wierdly multi-colored painting of a woman to the left of the mermaid in the tank. 5- The gear with a handle that you assemble goes into a pedistal stand; the stand is just to the left of the door to the room with the earl octopuser; this can be hard to spot, as it blends in with the surrounding artwork. Some people may have no trouble with any of this, but in case any of it did, these are the more difficult to find things for the most part; hope it helped.

Is there anything that the players who finished the game before the badge was added can do? I liked the game but not as much as to start it again...

Those are some ugly mermaids I am saving! :O Maybe the artwork makes them stand out so much. Anyway, 4/5. I'd like a highlighting of the cursor for interact-able objects in the next game, it would make me stop clicking everywhere.

While I'm usually a fan of such games, I wasn't with the art style. Its too confusing as everything seems to 'pop out' and lead me believing that more things were clickable than they really were.

This is the ugliest and most generic point n' click I've ever played. Everything looks like it was vomited on by a pastel rainbow. I've seen people disfigured in car accidents that were easier to look at than your deformed characters. And what's with the rigid movements, I've seen flash from 2003 that was smoother than this.

A completion badge is now live! I was going back and forth about whether completing this game should be a medium badge or a hard badge. It's kind of in-between, but maybe it should have been a hard badge. Most of the puzzles are pretty straightforward, but a few are more obscure. Really obscure, actually... bah, maybe the "medium" label was a mistake. If you get stuck, here's a walkthrough: http://jayisgames.com/review/the-earl-octopusor.php#walkthrough There's also one on YouTube. And now, with this comment, I can sleep a little easier with this badge being a medium instead of a hard!
