Under rating threshold (show) One thing that I like: the fans. I always laugh everytime I walk into town. One thing that I hate: The diffictulty of turning around. I've lost a few fights because my character refused to turn around to attack the enemy. Please increase the response of the character to commands, if at all possible. Please and thank you.

Under rating threshold (show) Maybe it's just me, but the combat system itself feels pretty shallow. Almost every enemy can simply be stunlocked and whacked to death by light attacks, making heavy attacks useless and every enemy feel exactly the same.

Under rating threshold (show) Secondary attacks are next to useless, givin that you do more damage just mashing the basic. Spells irk me. They don't fit the character concept, and it looks wierd to see a gladiator shoot lightning. The "ultimate" is impossible to use. You move around all over the place and get behind enemies as soon as you land a few attacks on them. Sure, I'm up to 3 or 4 kills per use, but I can do that in any case.

Under rating threshold (show) Hate the way the coin collection works. You kill someone and then have to wait around by their body until they disappear and release the coins.

Under rating threshold (show) In Ancient Greece the guys in the gym worked out naked. Gymnasium comes from the word "Gymnos" which means naked. Just thought of that when I saw the guys in the background lifting weights. :P

Under rating threshold (show) Enemy AI is pathetic. When they spawn, they run to a random spot on the arena and stand there for a while. If you are in their way, they will run right past you, paying no mind. They will then sit around refusing to attack you until they get it in their heads that they should run at you and attack once. Then they stare at you for a bit. This only works if you're distracted, and say, in the middle of an attack animation, during which you can't do anything. When you die, it's because of four or five cheap shots. You can handle ANY number of enemies from the front, somehow hitting six guys with one gladius, but god forbid you be able to turn around.

Under rating threshold (show) Hey, this game was finally released here! It is a great game but it is pretty annoying at parts. AND how it does that thing where when you attack you have to wait a second after you attack to turn or it does nothing.

Under rating threshold (show) A bit more depth, a little refinement, and this could have been a nice game. Unfortunately, the simple annoyances take away too much from the overall experience. As others have stated, the vanishing coins, the moving forward on every attack, the fact that training does absolutely nothing... it all makes for a meh game. At least let me carry my weapons into the marketplace and have some fun! I would have rated it five stars if you allowed the innocents to be slaughtered mercilessly...

Under rating threshold (show) Why the keyboard controls AND mouse? That just ruins immersion, I gotto go look for my mouse every time I want to shop. Let us shop with Z and X key as well as mouse!

Under rating threshold (show) No autopickup on coins that decay = hugely annoying. Walking a million miles to the shop after each fight = annoying. Moving forward each fight = also annoying. Controls are sluggish, and attack animation makes it impossible to move and dodge enemies. Good idea, but needs work. +1 for no premium crap tho.

Under rating threshold (show) wassle1 obviously knows next to nothing about game development. Keys that are familiar to players are much more effective to use, hence wasd is mainstream keys. Deviating from this causes unfamiliarity and although nessisary sometimes, with a game like this it isn't so. Perhaps a more suitable alternative is configurable keys.

Under rating threshold (show) Okay, I've had enough... I made it to Pit 8 before the constant undersized hit box of the dual weapons got to me when I'd be facing the superior assassins with a hit box nearly twice the size of mine... I can't even run from them when trying to get into a better position to attack because of the constant forward movement during attacks. Not to mention that you can't even turn around when attacking. This game could be great, but the clumsy controls just make it more a trial in patience rather than a fun game.

Under rating threshold (show) The hit boxes seem way off. Often times, the basic attack of the dual weapons will hit, but the secondary will completely miss. Often times as well, I'll get hit by a charging shield mob while beating on another mob. No damage will be dealt as the enemy runs through my hitbox while swinging, but I'll get hit by him. For a 2D game with a 3D movement field, the hit boxes need to be much better than the current level you have them. Other than that it's a good premise.

Under rating threshold (show) Get rid of the moving forward when you attack or make enemies get pushed back. Makes coins not vanish or easier to pick up (the potion is stupid and does not fix this). Add some kind of configuration to the controls.

Under rating threshold (show) This could be GREAT but it's plagued by niggling problems. If I've got a shield, I want to be able to block; a health boost is not sufficient. People clearly want customisable controls, permanent coins (or automatic gathering) and a bit more control over your avatar. Furthermore, there is no good design reason to have all your merchants and the training area so far away from each other. It's not fun traipsing up and down the palisade like a harried mother doing last-minute Christmas shopping.

Under rating threshold (show) When I'm attacking, don't make me go forward unless I press the key, eventually the enemy stays behind me and I end up attacking the air. Also, let me turn around while I'm attacking, it's really annoying to wait for the character to stop slashing so I can face the other side to avoid being stabbed by the back.
