THE CONTROLS ARE STUPID. I HAVE TO PUT MY HANDS IN SUCH A STUPID POSITION TO ACTUALLY FIGHT WHY DID YOU PUT THE CONTROLS RIGHT BELOW THE MOVEMENT BUTTONS? IT'S STUPID.

Imagine how grating all rpgs would be if you were required to, say, tap A to pick up your exp after every battle or you would lose part of all of it. THIS IS NOT FUN OR CHALLENGING.

Meanwhile, here's game B that doesn't hassle me about picking up coins. I don't feel less challenged, nor do I require the thrill of trying to figure out which level on the inclined plane will let me pick them up, nor do I have to stand still so that the stupidly slow coins will actually come into contact with me, while the game's rage mechanic drains because it runs counter to standing still and creates a conflict that is less interesting and more annoying since my progression is controlled by how much coin I pick up, not necessarily how well I fight.

Okay, so there's that. There's also the fact that you put potions in the game that take up the item slot and pull coins in, but they cost 25 coins which are really costly to somebody in the early game, which makes them only useful to somebody that makes so much money that they don't need the potions.

I really wanted to give this game a chance, but there are just too many things that take away from it. Sorry, but clunky controls and chasing coins while avoiding being hit just isn't fun.

First fight I learned there was no reason to use the heavy attack. Game seems crappy after playing the very first fight. Collecting coins is a terrible game mechanic and it's not like you couldn't give us money per kill like other games do. Did you actually play this game after you made it? Did you find every aspect of the game to be fun and interesting? I believe the answer to the first question is no, and if it was yes, I would be surprised if the answer to the second question was yes as well.

why do does the crowd get bored when I get stabbed repeatadly? If you ask me , if I went to see a sword fight I'd like the one man army to get hurt a little, or maybe a lot.

Yeah, the training area is absurd, the coin collecting is ridiculous, the battles are wearisome, the upgrades are far too slow in coming. Why limit the amount of potions you can have, either? And why make the gladiator have to go OUTSIDE to buy the stuff when it could just as easily be inside and you wouldn't have to wait while it reloads EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Game sucks. Too bad because it has potential.

2/5 game cause of all the small problems the game seem to have, like coin magnet size, overall combat, no dodge move or block move, no rewarding upgrades, to little difference between light and heavy attacks, and no combos at all and the bosses where to simple compared to being rushed by tons of enemies while being bombarded with fireballs at the same time.

This game started pretty decent.
Then you realize you have to reach certain levels before you unlock items. So when you get stuck on one level, you just have to keep replaying it, with the same equipment.
Sure, you can get different stuff. But when the level is mostly magicians, and you have dual weapons (which are good against magicians) and you still die a horrible death, it gets a little annoying.
So now I've amassed quite a large amount of gold, with nothing to do with it. I could buy every item several times, and still have gold.
Give. Me. More. Items. :|

It tells me the store has new stuff, but its all the same as it was when I went to battle... If I'm going to live through horrible coin collecting and not well configured battle system, I atleast would like to have the equipment to do it.

LISTEN: the coins-picking-up and dashing strike is all part of this game (you have to move a bit, not just slash'em). Take it like that or otherwise every game will be the same. Love diversity.

This game is hell fun except we need to be able to configure our own controls and also the coins need to last either for a much longer period of time, come out as soon as the enemy is dead or have them auto collected! Other than those things well done on the game :)

Stop complaining everyone. who needs upgrades. skill is all you need. plus spells are upgrade enough as is armor, and stop complaining about other things. its there game :/

There needs to be more variety in combat, such as a backwards slash. You're facing to the right, so hold the left key and do a heavy attack or something so you can actually hit the enemy behind you. You get swarmed very easily, it's bad enough you move forward when just swinging your weapon, so the enemy you're hitting is suddenly behind you. If the devs won't fix that, at least add more combat variety

There's a lot of things that need to be fixed, like coin disappearing and moving from just attacking, but a nice visual feature would be to have the enemies die with accordance to the type of attack you used. It doesn't make sense to sometimes decapitate someone from that shield combo where you bash and kick.

I keep giving this game a chance but every time I play I think its even worse. Not being able to turn around when being hit from behind, enemies hitting you when they arent lined up straight, and HORRIBLE default key bindings, a useless training area.... I could go on. But I'm just going to go play other games.

i have way too much money for my own good. make all upgrades available at the beginning, or at least sooner. i dont want an extra 3k coins forever

I use ASWD for movement and Y for light attack.. Well there are no other keys for the others but XCV are easy to reach.. :D
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
really annoying how you have to take your fingers off the movment keys to attack. should've made attack keys on the otherside of the keyboard for easier access. Also make coins dro right when you kill the person and also so that they dont disappear. These simple annoyances were enough for me not to play this game. FIx these things and I might play it.

"Blunt Weapons ignore some of the enemy's armor." Truth in television, that's why warhammers and other blunt weapons were used: because the shock of impact could transfer through armor.
