I was going to give this game a good review until the stupid dificulty curve made me try a level literally 20 times never passing farther than wave 5/6.For crying out loud,3/5.

Way too hard to collect the coins, at least they aren't too valuable since you have to unlock the items in the store before you can buy anything.

After playing for some time.... all i can say great potencial for the game.......
Nothing else, Coin collecting system is just lame (you have to dodge, run hit and collect coins that are dissapiring), uppgrades system is also lame (LET ME BUY WHAT I WANT), and all in all i will give this game 1/5 until i see something change.

if i was to have 1 suggestion i would change heavy attack for charge attack with shield, smash for heavy and for fast a slightly longer range attack

So much potential here, but so many things make it unenjoyable. Bad choice of control keys. Moving forward each attack. Inability to change directions without ceasing attack, pressing direction firmly and resuming. Coin gathering from corpses that take forever to dissipate. Running over several screens to purchase items for no good reason. Having to use the mouse for an otherwise all-keyboard game. Arbitrarily locked items. Useless training. Useless crowd of commentators to run through for no reason.

Uhm excuse me can I go grab those coins real quick, please stop hitting me I'm trying to kill this wizard, so it'd help if you'd stop hitting me in the back, hey can you stop moving so fast I can't move while hitting, hey I can't hit you you're too high up, hey stop charging ple- or just hit me in the face thanks.

Vanishing coins i could care less. But just go the extra mile and let us use arrow keys and enter button so this game is 100% mouse free.

As others have said, the coin gathering needs to go, it's just obnoxious. Also allow us to map our own keys if we so choose, I hate using the ZXCV buttons when QWER or WASD are so much more commonly used. I also hate being locked in a direction as long as I'm attacking. I hate that while I'm swinging my swords, I cannot turn and attack the guy behind me. This goes hand in hand with the movement forward with every swing, as it quickly leads to you moving through your target and being unable to hit him anymore.

Alright I tried to play this game, but I just couldn't. It's barely playable, and hardly enjoyable. 1 : Having to go back and forth to change your weapon is just annoying. Couldn't you have put something in the pause menu (or even in the ARMORY!!!!!) to change the equipment? Not being able to change your weapon when you are facing 4 different types of enemies made me mad. We could have had a weapon we prefer, it changed nothing. You just get stabbed in the back by someone stronger than you and you die. 2 : I'll skip the coin collecting flaw, as everyone has talked about it. But having to actually win a level, with obsolete equipment, to unlock better equipment in the shop, even if you have collected loads and loads of coins made that the second flaw of the game.

Everyone's already complaining about the coin system, so instead I'll just say that something needs to be done about the turning around. Chances are, I don't want to attack some air and then turn to face my enemy. Make the arrow keys more sensitive.

Cool game but terrible controls. I can only equip one item at a time? Silly. Ranged should always be an option even if you have health equipped. That's the Roman way! They used peltists more than legions.
Anyway, it's also very difficult to TURN AROUND in the arena. Please fix this since it matters a lot. Look at other arena games with fast weapon animations and you'll see they always capture your arrow keys so you can face the right direction, even in mid swing. Please fix! :)

its nice but it needs more actions moves like charging shield,bolt sword,or jump defence like enemies and coins should last forever and actions keys can be changed etc etc it needs much nice controls

In addition to the constant forward motion issue, there's long moment after an attack animation where you're unable to change direction. Allowing the player to change direction mid-combo would solve both problems, as well as making crowd control...well, not "easier." More like "possible in the first place."

Great game! But controls are very annoying. Later on it's easy to mistake key for potion (precious and limited) with the key of spells (witch are unlimited and it's good to use it all the time).
4/5 from me.

Alright so this game has a lot of potential but right now it kind of sucks. You need to make a sequel fixing all the problems people have with the game and i guarantee you'll have a kick ass game. Auto collected coins, no forward motion with attacks (except maybe heavy attacks), configurable keys, maybe a shield charge and an unlock system? I don't know I'm not the developer but this is sooo close to an awesome game that I really want to play.

I loved this game, but it looks like some kind of beta version.
1 - Why the hell do I move forward when I attack?? I mean, shit, my sword isn't that heavy, really.
2 - C'mon, wait 'till my enemy disappear to have his hard-to-get coins?
3 - Someone explain to me why the armor vendor and the weapon vendor are so distant from the fightin', please. With some good argument maybe I stop cursing them both everytime I have to walk 2 screens to buy my stuff
4 - Oh, I can use heavy attack? Maybe I didn't notice because it's useless compared to the fast attack...
5 - Frustration is the name of the feeling I've had when I tried to equip the potion + the spear. Why can't I?? Serious, the potion should be a standard and separated thing!!
6 - What's the vendors' problem? I mean, I have 3000 goddammit coins but I can't use them because they just don't let me see the others stuffs to buy!!

The money system is frustrating. A dodge would be nice. I find little motivation to do anything but sit in a corner and mash z so that anyone attacking me just dies. Honestly, the game has potential, but the overuse of the disappearing coins that we have seen from game developers makes me want to cry. The guy needs to not lunge when attacking. The shopping system is flawed. The combat system needs a rework. As soon as I see someone coming at me, I try to avoid them but my guy just stands there for a second.

No autopickup on coins that decay = hugely annoying. Walking a million miles to the shop after each fight = annoying. Moving forward each fight = also annoying. Controls are sluggish, and attack animation makes it impossible to move and dodge enemies. Good idea, but needs work. +1 for no premium crap tho.

Well just to add to what others already said (about coins etc.) When turning around to face the opponent I find that I need to back up and turn again because I always end up behind the opponent. It seems that the graphic are turning around the 'back' foot instead of the front foot.
