1- Coins either last forever OR auto collect. Otherwise its a giant pain. 2- Stop moving forward every attack & stop having me miss when I'm on top of someone. 3- Unlock stuff. If I want to grind up to an awsome sword, let me. These make it very frustrating.

Every time I swing the sword I move forward a little bit. Doesn't take long for my opponent to be behind me. The training area has no purpose whatsoever. My left hand is most used to sitting on the ASDF keys. Not the ZXCV keys. And when I kill someone I know I will have to collect their coins in a limited timeframe. Yet I have to sit and wait for them to actually die before the coins are released. All of which would make for bad strategies if this were real life.

In theory this game should be great, it has all the stuff a usually go for. Grinding for cash, upgrades and hack'n'slash... but yet, it makes me go "meh" because of the amount of anoying elements. (i wont list them, because the top comments allready did so)

1 - TERRIBLE COIN collecting system, please fix.
2 - As other people have mentioned, moving forward while attacking was a terrible idea (...theres a reason you should be able to press forward and attack or just attack...)
3 - Whats the point of training?
4 - Good game but with those major design flaws (coins and attack) ruined gameplay experience a lot more than it should [try having competent beta testers for you game before you release them...3/5 (could have been 4.5/5)

Less mentioned complaints: Vertical attack distance is too narrow, and lining up with enemies is a pain; recovery from the 'fast' attack and momentum takes too long, making it extremely difficult to turn around and hit the enemies you are right on top of (making so that characters can't walk through each other would probably help); the spells and heavy attacks do not do enough damage or have enough effect to make them viable options in battle; visibility in Ultimate is so poor that it ends up being more trouble than it is worth; action keys are reversed, putting the most used key (quick attack) on the weakest finger (pinkie); user interface requires switching from keyboard to mouse and back; Unlocks don't match money system, I've got 6 Grand sitting the the bank and the game is forcing me to waste it on potions instead of just getting better equipment. Also, some sort of dodge, roll, lunge or sprint would be nice.

if i get 3 stars the first time i complete a level, and get 2 stars when i repeat it, that should not replace my first 3 stars

I don't get it. Why does the crowd get LESS excited when you get hit? I mean, in Ancient Rome and today, it makes it hella more exciting if the hero's getting hit too....

Beautiful, good ideas, but awful gameplay... You can't avoid an enemy attack, you can't block, the control are difficult,... The only thing to do is buying a lot of potions and hit Z...

I vote for infinite-life coin bags and some sort of knockback being done to the foes who get whacked, to compensate for the moving forward with an attack and walking through people thing.

Why the hell does running into me with a large piece of wood do 67 dmg while slicing me twice with a sword doesn't even do 17???
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game needs a lot and i put emphasis on " a lot" of work, why do i have to wait for enemy's to disappear to collect their coins which disappears after 5 seconds this is frustrating, why do i keep moving forward after every attack, soon the enemy is behind me and killing me, why do i have to be in align to do damage, and finally why is there a training ground area which is used for nothing.

Hint, make it possible to change directions while attacking, i am tired of losing score because my combo prevented me from defending myself.

It is hard as hell! But even though it is hard it is a fun game, it is actully really hard to find these kind of games!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
this game has sooo many bad things a gamer does not want to even spend an ounce of time on....
1: You may have either a health potion or spears...
WHAT THE HELL??
2:The two main buttons for attacking, the gamer is going to have to use his pinky for... its called beta testing...
3:COINS DISSAPEAR
ARE YOU INSANE...
4:The person moves forward on every attack. that is soo damn annoying. having to turn around every five seconds because your guy is skipping through everyone...
you really need to beta-test games before you release to the public. this game would keep me hooked through the whole thing if it just didn't have so many damn flaws.

You've created a great atmosphere and paid much more attention to aesthetics than most flash games, but your gameplay needs a lot of work. As many people have said, the coin collection needs to go. There's no purpose for it, and it detracts from combat. The AI is also terrible; you should probably have fewer enemies with better AI, so that you're fighting a handful of competent opponents at a time and actually have to maneuver rather than just running from one to the other as they wander aimlessly.

1) The enemies move faster than you do.
2) There's no reliable way of defending yourself.
3) The coin vanishing thing is really annoying.
4) Magic is almost completely useless, since it doesn't do enough DPS compared to regular attacks.
5) The controls are difficult to use, especially the item/magic buttons (I've tried to use magic many times, only to accidentally waste an item).
6) Money is almost completely useless, since you only need to spend large sums of it occasionally.
7) The training ground is useless.
8) There's no reason to have three different shops, except to make you walk further.
9) Clicking outside of the game window doesn't automatically pause it, causes lag for some people.
10) The 3d-movement thing makes it harder to accurately hit enemies.

This game has way too high a rating for something that needs so many changes to make it good (and that would be good with those changes). Cmon people, stop giving it "benefit of the doubt" stars. A low rating might actually spur the devs into action to fix the game. A high rating only encourages them to leave it as it is.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
it's a good battling game.kinda different, but you should have made an inventory for the items, armor and weapons, cause going to a shop just to change a weapon is pointless, and the game needs a selling option and adjustable controls!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's a good game, overall... the coin collection is terrible, movement while attacking is not what we want and it's a bit repeative... and why is there a training? 4/5 stars.

Seriously, that started as a promissing game but in the end is just a steamy pile of ****! In the late stages you requre lots and lots of agility that the game doesn't give you while the enemies have it. You cannot block the attacks you cannot avoid them when 100 guys attack you with magic blades or even just charging into you dealing lots of damage. Also the fact that you move and actually pass through your enemies when you attack them is complete bull. You have a guy pinned against the wall giving him a barage of attacks and you suddenly pass right through him and he's on your back, able to hack the hell out of you. riiight! And yes that coin dissapearence thing is complete nonesence. Oh and something last. You give so many items a player can use at the same time but only one button for all the items? Very clever... and how the hell am I going to use my potions and my spears in the same arena match? let alone the coin gathering potions and all that other jazz.

this game looks really cool and i think it has potential that is just ruined by terrible game mechanics. The motion controls were especially bad for me; I would try to run away after an attack and it just wouldn't respond quickly.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I wish I could be stationary when attacking or be able to move backwards while still facing my current enemy. Also, I almost always do better with a health bar, but otherwise, pretty frickin' awesome.

Change heavy attack so that it feels more worthwhile to use...
Dual wield : Whirlwind AoE Attack
Shield : Charge (like the enemies do)
Heavy Weapons : High Damage Swing
...or something like this
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I suggest switching the "Item" (C) key and the "Spell" (V) key to prevent accidentally hitting and waiting the pots (whilst spamming attack and spells, which i happen to do a lot). I also noticed that none of the other consumable items are actually worth buying since health pots are way more important, making them quite useless.

there is only 2 things that make this game boring when you attack mutiple times on a strong oppenent you go behind them... AND the ammount of lag it makes, im swinging my sword for my life while lagging, next thing you know,im dead 3/5

its anice game , but something u must fix it is : 1. the equipment, the next unlocked equipment's stat is so bad and not fair, 2. the enemy, they are so many and have alot hp, u think im a god and can kill them all alone? im just a human, 3.the potion, i must pay 300coins for 1 pot -,- thats over price

"Blunt Weapons ignore some of the enemy's armor." Truth in television, that's why warhammers and other blunt weapons were used: because the shock of impact could transfer through armor.

First fight I learned there was no reason to use the heavy attack. Game seems crappy after playing the very first fight. Collecting coins is a terrible game mechanic and it's not like you couldn't give us money per kill like other games do. Did you actually play this game after you made it? Did you find every aspect of the game to be fun and interesting? I believe the answer to the first question is no, and if it was yes, I would be surprised if the answer to the second question was yes as well.

I'm actually really sad. This game screams potential, but it seems to fall short in too many places. Most of my problems have already been stated by basically everyone, but let me reiterate them, firstly the coin issue. Collectable coins add nothing to the gameplay, only makes it more tedious. Make it either auto collect, or just give us a certain amount if we win the level. I actually don't have a problem with the ZXCV keys, but i guess you could make them rebindable to satisfy the masses. The last problem i have is attacking. I would prefer if attacking enemies knocked them back slightly, so I can still effectively combo them, keep the moving forward thing, because that logically that is what would happen. The last problem i have is with hammers. I think this is just me being nitpicky, but I would love to have them be more of a slow attacking, AOE type weapon. Oh, well, I hope you can fix the game, would be a great game if you did.

"Ugh, Heavy hates magic" - Heavy Weapons Guy, 2020
Seriously, those bolts HURT!
Assassins and Mages are the most annoying enemies in the game.
