I'd love to see the devs make a bigger version of this, more levels, more units, more maps, maybe even more teams, and then publish it on steam for money, if they add a lot more content, I don't care how expensive, this game is a classic and is worth it, big time

I cat get the game to play. I downloaded the launcher and chose to start the game with Caesar, but the game wont actually let me select the first level to play it. I tried redownloading the launcher and restarting the game, and still nothing.
Any ideas as to what is wrong and how to fix the problem?

This game actually reminds me of Castle Crashers in some ways. The perspective plane is a mix between a 2D and top-down view, just like Castle Crashers is. Not to mention the medieval theme matches as well, and even some of the soundtracks are the same. Anyhow, it was still a pretty fun game within itself :)

Man, I really liked this game. Unfortunately, I can't find any sequels to this, so I'm not sure what to do now that I have beaten both Caesar and Vercing. I hope a Siegius 2 will come eventually (even though it has been 9 years, still..)

click on the fast forward button while dragging the cursor outside. play the game using keys else using the mouse would stop fast forward effect.

I wish there was like a defense mode where you have to hold off attacks or like a sandbox so you could mess around like Rome v Rome ect

I would go as far as to say for lvl 9 with the first story you should let verc get the wizard cause he dies easily with the spam I stated as well as there won't be any boar riders or behemoths to block the dmg done to the base. I did test it.

I straight up for the last lvl for Caesar's campaign used lvl 2 fire archer range plus lvl 3 speed for miners and would of won the game without help from Rome. Lvl 9 for the same campaign was easy too you have 5k gold you get 3 centurions highest Def cavalry and max range fire archers spam that it is the easiest stuff. Pro tiP fire archers are the best unit for Rome.

Tips: Use max speed miners all the time, on the last level for Caesar, just use regular archers, for anything just use archers.

siege weapons cant damage their walls.
Mate, they're called siege weapons for a reason, they are meant to damage walls

Caesar 5: Take miners and whatever, then spam 2xrange archers.
Boar riders are Vercing 5, and Behemoths are Vercing 9.

TIP: On level 9 just put miners on all 3 gold right next to base and attack full force. enemy is a lot harder to beat when he DOES NOT HAVE the mercenary. So while enemy tries to save gold u attack with everything

To everyone complaining that Siege weapons don't damage the bases: maybe the bases are built out of range of the stationary siege weapons?

There is still a bug in level 5.
I cannot win because Vercing doesn't take any damage, neither from Caesar or regular troops. When Caesar or Vercing are damaged the screen flashes for a fraction of second and the characters don't take any damage.
Please fix the bug.

If you take a look at history, Siege weapons are used to destroy the base, which makes this really weird because the siege weapons don't do their job, other than that, good game. 4/5.

a problem I am finding is on the mission where you first use your hero,what keeps happening for me is when Caesar and Vercing fight neither one of them take damage and then when Vercing is facing my normal troops then again he takes no damage. I am only able to get lucky shots on the enemy fortress but even then it barely does any damage. If this is a bug please fix it!

hate to criticize but I have a "ghost archer" on the second level my guys go through him my base archers are shooting at him but he isn't dying and he is doing damage to my base.

also, seige weapons were designed to destroy walls. swords were designed for hacking and slashing. how do swords do more damage???
