Here's some numbers:
Level: 20
Time Played: 9 hours
Familiars: 6
To be fair, I've made 7 captures total (not counting the two familiars you get for free), but since having multiples doesn't matter I've actually only caught 4 new pets. Maybe I'm unlucky, but these numbers mean that I've spent at least 8 of my 9 hours playing this game and being disappointed.

It looks like you went ahead and launched the game with all the flaws identified in the beta intact. Even the "fusion system" is still "coming soon." Too bad.

Well, this game was really great for the first half hour or so. I guess I'll have to try it again sometime as I'm no longer allowed to play today due to the classic "energy system". Time to find another game I suppose!

.... what the hack people dislike my comment only because i says remove energy system if the creator don't want to remove it i have to accept it but they have at least make the game a bit longer so everyone can enjoy playing their game

Please remove energy. I love this game and would love to actually play it for more than 10 minutes. After 10-15 minutes when you lose all your energy you literally have to wait 4+ hours to get it back.

the cost it takes to get monsters on your side in the early game is to high. takes so long to get gold and to have only a 20% is really bad for 2000 dollar price tag.

8bit GaiaOnline rip. Wouldnt be bad but between the energy restraints and gold being mostly useless, requiring real $ to get any useable quantity of in game currency to purchase in game items. 1/5. Devs: drop the energy and severely moderate your attempt at profiteering and it would be worth playing.

might just be my computer, but my first pvp battle none of my buttons worked. attacks just didn't happen. might be nothing

okay this game has potential but it needs
1. no energy system or...
2. some mini games where you can wait while your energy regains maybe even earn some stuff to improve your character in some way

Could you keybind 1,2,3 to the teammate/enemy in that position for spells/pots? Also A to toggle auto, and space to close dialogs. Maybe more for other menus, but this would cover most of dungeon actions with 1 hand, so the other just needs to do movement.

Other than the force use of 300 gems (not even a reload fixed that) i liked the game as long as it would let me play, now you "only" have to wait 7-8h then you are good to go again;(

Nice game, but just so you know..... I hate it when the game forced me to spend free gems I got from the quest. What if I wanted to save them for something else?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Seems like this could be an excellent game. I'll check back sometime and see if you've removed the ridiculous energy system.

I'd prefer an actual campaign. I'm not into PVP. In my experience, PVP in games with microtransactions is always a "whoever pays more is better".
Plus, I like actual storylines too. I'm not saying that the game currently is Pay-to-Win, but as the game is still in its infancy stages, I'm worried it will become that way. Buying PVP tickets to climb the ladder to get to the top of the Events, for example.
Obviously, transactions are essential to a game. You need to make money to keep going. I'm not saying get rid of them or lower the prices. I'm saying that adding a campaign or storyline for those of us that aren't interested in PVP would be pretty nice.

ENERGY SYSTEM = good for facebook not for Kongregate. Too many of them too much pay to play. Hope Kongregate would ban them all cuz honestly, once you paid for 1 game like that you will never do it again.

Remove the energy system altogether, add replay to all stages, and hire a writer to create actual storylines and side mission stories, and this game would have a very good chance to take off. In its current form however, it's not much more than "potential".

okay so it is a total pay to play game......... I mean when I'm gone for like 4 hours and I come back and can only do 2 hard dungeons and then I have to wait 4 more hours to do it again......... I CALL BULLSHIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I mean I don't mind investing in a game once I decide I like it, but FFS give me a chance to play it for a few days to decide if I WANT to invest in it...........

I would say don't lock mini stages between the dungeons until the dungeon has been openend. because I beat 2-1 [penguins] to find out the skeletal chickens would completely wreck me, and there's no way to get potential upgrades than die repeatedly.

game worked fine yesterday. Today its not working. Im getting a link to download adobe flash player. I updated my flash player but the game is still not working. Tried restarting, disabling adblocker. Nothing worked. Other flash games on kong are working fine for me....

The Energy system, coupled with the random chance to have a random chance to catch a thing, will be the death of this game. The gameplay is fun. The systems are infuriating.

Fantastic game ruined by an abusive energy system, if you want the game to attract more people you will have to lower the energy consumption, at the rate it is now you can play 20 minutes a day at best, and I'm sure most people will forget about this game after a week if they cant play more than that... It's sad really could of been a great game...

Just read the comments and saw it is energy based... bye bye, i'm not even trying this bullshit. You guys gotta learn that to make a game last, or you make a really good game or stop doing the same mistakes as other games did, using this pay to win system and pay to play acctually.

To start this game has great potential. That said a few changes are needed. Being able to replay levels for items and gold. Add the ability to defend as to take less damage and give a chance to save for ability use like healing. The healing pots cannot be used sometimes, I believe that is a glitch though. If no replay of levels then make it so your gold is not spent when failing to get a pet. Also remember devs that we here at Kongregate love to support the devs but it should not be a play to win game, getting things like pets or wings and even energy(when you get more by waiting) encourage people to spend since they get the needed stuff in game. When you turn it around though it makes it less popular in the long run. Great game to start and a few changes would make it better and still get you the money you so desire and deserve for making a good game.

I don´t understand why would you need a chance to get a familiar to join you only to have a chance if you pay him... So it´s a chance of a chance... it don´t have any sense
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The energy system is a bit too heavy... i mean 25 energy for medium and 50 for hard dungeon its way too much only play twice and you done. I would reduce drop rate a bit and reduce energy used x5 or something... Give people the chance to play your game! ;)

Having a very small chance to try and capture creatures in the first place, a measly 10-30% chance for xxxx amount of gold seems very greedy by the developers. It appears that this will be a "pay to win" type of title.

I've only been playing this for about 2 minutes and I already love it.
I love the retro look and play of it. I eagerly look forward to seeing what happens with this game.

A few observations- while I like the gameplay and the pace overall, I'm not thrilled with the drops since they don't seem to do much either way. Maybe that changes at higher levels, but it sort of feels like my character will be the same cookie cutter mold no matter what I do.
