Ranger is probably the best class right now. Its damage is fine 11 at level 20 range lets you deal with those pesky undead worms. Im not sure how you could nerf it without making it useless.

just met a double speed bat (as in twice the speed of normal bats) boy that thing was fast, fortunately they die quick, I how to never meet a double speed wolf pack(move 6 wolves... OUCH

Ranger is pretty insane, finished the game on my first try with him. Pretty powerful class as the penetrating arrow also gives him decent crowd control. And being able to out-range towers in an open field means you can even clean out level 15 comfortably with him.

So far Ranger is OK but seems like you should either start with more arrows or more Focus. Right now I primarily use my spear (need to up melee) but also need to up my range for more talents but also need to up my focus because I only start with 3.

Why can I not mance necros as the necromancer? It's called a necromancer for a reason. Add the ability to raise the dead please. This is incorrect, or rename it...

Still just loving this game. There seems to be a bug... can't access the merchant in the last few games (the dialogue comes up but won't actually go to the sell screen).
One of the things I love is the secret rooms full of monsters... turns into a super fun tactical puzzle!

Goofy death: I was playing Rogue and ran out of ammunition while surrounded by enemies. I used my scroll of hellfire without checking if I was standing on grass.

Hi, just cleared warrior; enjoying the game a lot. It depends quite a bit on luck (as it should, all RPG depends on amazing loots dragonskin armor+2 is deadly helpfull), but you should make it systematics to get those amazing PNJ from the snow level, they are extremely helpful and it would reduce the randomness of a win (bonus talent points love it, little white priest, amazing).

It's funny, the first time I played this game I chose the warrior and got murdered pretty quickly... So I thought I need a ranged class... used fire/storm mage got to floor 5 sometimes 6... Came back today played the warrior again and got to floor 13 but have to save and quit to go to work... So yeah guess luck and a little skill play a big part (like most rogue-likes) in this game.

Randomly chosen dungeons … After several failed attempts, I suddenly had a rather comfortable road to floor 16. The dungeons I faced this time were more friendly to the player, so a bit of luck makes a big difference.

So far the game seems almost entirely luck based. You either find character relevant god-tier gear and a dozen skill books early on or you get your shit kicked in before floor 5.

Your updates have been amazing. I'm no fan of in-app purchases, but if you stuck to this game and made it awesome, I'd 100% buy a sequel to this on here or steam. Also does anyone know why we can't just buy games on Kong? I mean I hate IAPs so much, I would easily pay 10 or 15 bucks for a kingdom rush sequel or a Rebuild 3. 20-25 bucks for some of the more iconic titles on this website. The whole in app purchase system slows down most of the newer games on here, and I've been playing games here since the beginning. Please upvote this if you see this, maybe the developer or kong will see it, Honestly I wish they had this service on this site years ago.

germanboy98 remember to rest near campfires in the cold area and the game was designed to make the last 4 levels a dash for the prize. sometimes your char is so overpowerd you can clear them, but most of the tim just try to stay alive and find the stairs (or the goblet on 16)

I'm not a fan of the altar's of exploration or healing. I have to run around with low health to get the advantage, and it doesn't seem worthwhile. Some suggested changes:
Altar of healing -> altar of Protection, gives you some temporary HP (+1 per level) which regenerate after a certain time
Altar of Exploration -> regen +lvl HP and mana each time you go to a new level (not contingent on being low HP)

By the way, three spider spawners almost right next to each other is mildly unfair. i saw one, ran into another room with one, got stunned, killed four spiders. kept running from the now six spiders. turned the corner and got webbed instantly by poison spider. eight spiders, and a goblin had a feast that day.

TIPS :
- The game is TURN BASED = nothing happens if you do not move, take your time and plan ahead to prevent getting in sticky situations.
- Pressing "E" will automatically explore when no enemies are in sight. You will pick up items, open chests, collect libraries, etc.
- As of 2017-03-28, the Warrior class is probably the best one to start with. He can 1-hit almost anything that you can find in the first 3-4 floors, has high hp and good survivability skills.
- Read description : Most of what is ingame has a description when you hover your mouse over it.
- Use the environment : Corners can break line of sight from enemies and draw ranged enemies to you. Use corridors/doorways to fight monsters 1on1 instead of getting surrounded. Lure enemies into traps/red mushrooms/bad terrain.
- Use a ranged weapon (javelin/dart) or staff to destroy a red mushroom if your path is blocked.
- Level ups heal you fully
- Scrolls can save your life, don't sell them.

Noob-tip: necromancer is op, if you're a noob, go necro, or anything long ranged. It stops you from taking damage, and lets you learn the mechanics.

to all who post about no save option: there IS, its called save and quit. there is also an autosave before going to a new level. this save file is deleted on death. and yes that IS intentional. the game intends for death to hurt, not merely have you go back from last save and hope to do better.
