This game, much like the original, is incredibly fun, but incredibly difficult. This one is definitely more polished, and adds some new ideas, but it's still obviously got less of both of those than the games that have come since this game.

It's amazing to play this game and its sequel back-to-back. Honestly I don't mind too much that this game is so much more random, but the "miss" mechanic is so annoying. You'll have an awesome run going with a high-level character, making calculated or total risk-taking moves. But since you missed one tile ahead and the monster didn't, you died. So glad this wasn't in the sequel.

I feel like an idiot: I used my necromancer's toxic cloud spell to wipe out a group of enemies, then walked straight into it and died. I shouldn't have gone for the gold the guy dropped.

When I earned this badge, it took me almost 2.5 hours to get. At least it didn't take as long as Rogue Fable III, where it took me over 4 hours. But at the very least, both of these games are not like Raid Heroes: Total War, where it took me about 8 hours to get an EASY BOTD. Yes, that game is easy, but it still took 8 hours of grinding to get it. At least these games have a challenge while you spend hours trying to get MEDIUM BOTDs.

"Your character was killed by a blood in the arcane tower" …guess the dungeon is located in compton, the more you know!

when it comes to crowd control and nothing else, then the storm mage is the best option. a ranged starter weapon which gives large chains damage to everyone in an area (when in water). all their spells affect multiple people and one of them stuns. problem with them is that they're squishy and it would take a lot of skill points into fortitude to make yourself more tanky. if you don't want that then try the barbarian, who starts with an axe which hits everyone around you. it is very good and you're quite hard to kill... but your ranged options are limited, which is a big issue late game.

You know how when the fake walls fall down the enemys on the other side get to attack first. One fell next to me, filled to the brim with fire mages. all shot me before i could even move. i died.

Got lucky with a warrior run, where early on I found a book of rage and invested my skill points on melee and fortitude

it's not a bad game but not having a save point really blows, you die way too easily, so far i've only made it to floor 6. after 30 tries, i'm done

AT THE FINAL LEVEL I SOFTLOCKED MYSELF BY USING SCROLL OF BLINK TO GO THROUGH A GATE! UGHHGHGHHGHGHGHHGH. KILLED MYSELF THROUGH DAMNED HUNGER... (must have pressed space 1000 times...)

Of course... I found a way to softlock myself. I used a SCROLL OF BLINK TO GET THROUGH A GATE! Then there was no way out. *sigh*

Got upset when new loot (weapons) just disappeared because of the full inventory, and using up projectiles to free space didn't change anything. But when talking to the merchant I suddenly noticed those weapons in my selling inventory! Saving the game and opening it again brought the items into view and made them accessible! :)

trop compliqué, à chaque fois que j'arrive à l'étage 3, je me fait agressé par 3 ou 4 personnages avec cercles jaunes dés la sortie de l'escalier
aucune idée de comment dépenser l'or gagné
et le fait qu'il y est une barre de faim m'as blasé du jeu au bout de 3 minutes

I have no problem saving and no slow downs. The badge works fine on Chrome, for me, anyway. I H8ed this at first, but now I'm hooked. Embrace the E button! IT ROCKS! Also, you can click the map, when not in combat and your dude will go wherever, until he encounters a MOB. Also, you can go back upstairs. Leave some fountains untapped and remeber where the Merchant is.

Following PunyMortal's guide I was able to immediately get killed by an orc warrior who spawned right beside the stairs on floor 2 because this game is an embarrassment.
