Do something a bit more imaginative with the spiders in survival. Seems like theres no point in killing em as it takes DPS away from the field and another spider insta drops.

i agree with most of the top comments but i would add 1 thing for a upgrade rapid fire for 1 then 2 then 3 seconds upgraded it seems like your spells do most of the damage i think it would just make the game alot more fun with a machine gun bow and arrow

Game seems fine, not great, not bad. People are always gonna complain about premium content because reasons, but it's not really a big deal here. I like the extra bonuses for maxing most skills, although I think the level 3 Winter's Freeze bonus is a bit too good (x4 bow dps for 10 seconds + the blizzard effect tends to completely destroy everything on the screen, even bosses).

So, seriously? The cash cop-out is pathetic. It was a fun game, sure, but to hide 7 levels and more spells behind an obvious cash grabber is piteous on a site like Kongregate. 1/5

Feature suggestions: -- -- Give visual feedback (cross out the icon?) when the "respawn" item in Survival has been used up. -- -- Show a hint in-game about the pause menu having an option to review your items. -- -- I second stern keefer's suggestion; finding which battles still have a "free level" is more cumbersome than it should be. -- -- Possible bug: -- -- The "dark priest" in Survival never shows up in my bestiary.

You keep saying "Premium content is just optional and for people who are grateful and want to donate..." But played it from a "customer" perspective? The Premium content is obnoxious and it's EVERYWHERE being slapped in your face and telling you "Here's a demo. FUN COSTS." This may work for some games, but on FREE Flashgame sites like Kongregate it is not really received well at all. You put it like it was "donating" and the actual premium-stuff would be just a grateful gift to nice players, but this simply isn't the way it looks to us. Most of us think "Yeah, same game reskinned and trying to pull the bills from my pocket?" I only have half- a devs perspective though...
Maybe I should just stop saying the support thing. This is a learning experience for us, having never done premium content stuff before.
Regardless, it's still optional and unnecessary to buy Premium Content to enjoy the free and intended experience. That's where our frustration comes into play.. people who automatically downvote because they don't want to pay (and not wanting the premo content is totally fine!). We, as gamers too, are aware the vast majority of people don't want to pay anything ever. But to drop the score because there is extra content they don't want anyway is annoying. There are stilly plenty of people who want it and buy it.

The first one was better. The skills tree in particular is a lot worse now. In the last game, I only needed 3 points to get the next level in each spell type, and those points could be spent on generic boosts. Here I need to buy out almost the entire level of nothing but boosts to that type to get the next level of the spell. Also, what happened to the Gargoyle spell from the original? The bomber is boring, and there's too much delay to properly aim. I want him guarding me.
This kind of misguided comment is getting frustrating. You can still enjoy the game without buying premium content- it was designed that way. The Premium content is for people who want a little more than the main game (or want to support us). This game is already (without premium content) bigger than the last game. Not to mention, the main game is free. Nobody is forcing you or anybody to buy premium content. We do it to help support ourselves to be able to continue to make more games. So, it's pretty toxic/hurtful to us when you instantly give us a bad score because of your bias towards non-essential, non-forced premium content. And this kind of comment keeps being made and reinforced. C'mon, think a little bit.

Good game, kinda sucky that you have to pay to contiue....
anyway stuff i think you can improve/ add:
*show how much damage i hit.
*smaller arrow target- cant see if thats a slime or some grass.
*able to shoot spells and not wait for them to hit the ground.
*mupltiple arrows- that way you can add more levels.
*more bosses!!!
*green blood on slimes and spiders, "grazing" on skeletons, and so on.

Man I gave this a 5 star. Love the shit out of it... then I read the comments because I like to know what others think. Hadn't gotten as far as most and learn its a pay to win. Forget 5 stars. 1 star.
It's not pay to win. It's pay for extra content if you want it (nobody is forcing you). The main game is enjoyable/playable without purchase of anything.

I voted for 5 until i get to the premium stuff. sorry, this is not what i know when i started the game. Beside that, nice game. rated down to "2".

Just destroy Eriford in monster power ten a few times and youll see its so damn easy to win this game without paying.

So, you re-made the first game in its exact form. Everything, is exactly the same game. Except in number 2, we can give you money for it to? O_o I don't mind throwing a buck or two here and there, but i only do that for Original Content. 1/5. First got a 5. :/
Except it's not. The main game here is already longer than the first. The premium content (which NOBODY is forcing upon you) is for players who want a little extra.

Have to agree with plateplatinum on this, terrible form to release half a game, and force people not only to pay for it to continue, but to force them to play on another site. I'd say lets petition Kong to remove it until they give everyone the option to play it wherever.

Finally! Yes! Sentry Knight was an excellent game that I enjoyed playing. his game though, it didn't impress me as much. Im not one to give unecessary bad ratings, but some extra content that made this game more unique from the first would be cool. Thanks :D!

My only gripe is that the Revive Stone item in survival doesn't appear to work; based on the description, it's not clear whether it works when you die or there's a CHANCE it works.
Otherwise, great fun! 5/5

My setup is to get all three ice and plague skills and wall of flame. The other two flame skills don't feel nearly as strong.

I can understand you want to be compensated for your efforts, but this game is really nowhere near big enough to make me want to buy access. Add a few more continents, throw in some surprises, any sort of extra effort really to keep the grind more interesting (different bows, mini bosses, companions, additional outside quests, etc) and i'd probably go for it. I'm not that into paying for spells or items though. Nonetheless, it was enjoyable until the abrupt ending.

After a few levels I got bored. I thought I had played it all before... turns out that was the first one and the sequel is just so identical that I didn't realise it was new at all. The first game was good but honestly not engaging enough for me to buy extra levels to play...

It is a refinement of the original, but still fun. There's a lot of apparent versatility, but the mechanics don't change. Delay spells and bow for clean up. I hardly touched fire. I would note that most of the spells go where you target. So, if your gargoyle is always bombing the same spot, try moving your cursor to where you want it to bomb and remember to compensate for its fly-in time.

Nothing new, just better graphic than ver1. You can win just with first row spells and thats what you need to do, because there is not enough content. Except premium content - which is no-go.

1 star based on the same exact game as the original but more importantly the "buy the rest of the game" nonsense.....its a flash game...No

Would vote 2/5, but since so many people has given the game a 5/5, I feel like it's my responsibility to help bring the rating down a bit, so I'm giving it a 1/5. Having a lot of content being premium only (I'm guessing a lot of people voted 5/5 before realizing this) is the same as having an unfinished game. Not fun.
We're sorry if you feel like it's your job to bring down the rating of the game. I definitely understand that having content behind a payment can be off-putting, but that content is optional. It's there if you want to help support us as flash game developers - if not, that's fine. Due to licensing agreements with our sponsor, we're unable to just have all the content unlocked, unfortunately. Regardless, I thank you for your time with the game and apologize if you weren't able to get enjoyment out.

The game itself is well made somewhat fun, but this exclusives with other sites and difficult payments made the game too burocratic and mercenary, that's why is 3/5 for me.
