-.-', Tactic = Just keep going sideways anywhere non-stop and just shoot infront of you to hit all the enemies trying to catch you because they all go in a straight line, and dont worry about getting the lil green orb things, they dont dissapear so wait till end of last wave then stop so you collect em and then upgrade and redo. It's easy for the badge.

+ this if you think enemies crashing into your ship is one of the more effective ways of destroying them! cause seriously whats the point of trying to aim and shoot them if they're that fast and your shield is uber?

I HATE THAT BOSS!!! took me forever to beat him, the fact that he instakills you or sometimes spawns right next to you doesn't help either. As for the game, ether war is a lot better than this utterly broken shooter.

Well, I love the game, but it seemed to me that there was something odd with the firing, and then it hit me. When you move, the velocity of the bullets you fire doesn't fire, when, if you go by real physics, the velocity of the ship should be add to the velocity of the bullet. But that's just me being picky ^_~

This game has consumed about 50% of my time at work for the last several days. It's definitely among my favorite Kongregate sponsorships. Congrats to Kajenx for doing such a great job with this game, and I hope you all enjoy it!

Me followed your advice and yes, its worked.But,sometimes me died several times.You should shoot to all directions while moving diagonally to prevent mass rapid shots...

That's fair..make enemies that all slam into you at the speed of light..give you no way of outrunning them without compromising shield and firepower..which you need. Even if you can outrun them, all they do is spawn around you and smash into you from every direction. Another game where I got the medium, but am not going to to put myself through the shit of getting the hard..why do so many games make you start at square 1 when you die? Can't stand it...least it has WASD support.

F*CK LEVEL 21!!! The boss is way too fast and unpredictable, plus the whole fact that he go off your radar, it's like pacman and he reappears on the other side and you can't get away

hope this helps ^^ at the start increase ur turret and shield but keep engine at half the value of turret , then when turret reach 25 which is the same as shield upgrade both turret and shield but still keep engine at half the value, also remember to look at the radar at the start of each wave to make sure u don ram into a horde of minions..........lastly to defeat boss just wipe out all the minions before u focus on the boss.....STOP where u are and wait for the boss to reenter the radar then simply just MOVE ASIDE as the boss move mostly in a straight line(don forget to shoot it)....+ if this helps

Perhaps; if I wasn't immediately surrounded at the start of each wave, I'd be able to live more then 8 seconds and actually play your game.

Things to put in. 1. make sun slower 2. reduce speed of sun;too fast 3.increase level cap for weapons,shields and make the speed of the engine noticeable or fix it

Levels 1-20? Absolutely no problem. Start off already moving and you don't have to worry about them spawning on you. Level 21? Big guy seems to be able to get on top of me no matter how I try to avoid him.

awesome. but I like the sequel more. no need to upgrade the engine. and for all who still haven't understood: the weapon does NOT get any better than the arc! and the "boss" thing in the end gets easy as soon as watch on your radar...
if you follow these (really easy) steps the game is no problem (=

Why, in god's name, would you ever make a game like this without giving quality options? Combine that with the completely pointless, overkill screen shaking, and this game is just unplayable junk.

The radar is useless. The enemies gang rape you anyway at the start of a wave because you didn't put any waiting seconds in between each one...

I haven't understood what was the point of this game... Is it based on luck? Whatever options you'll pick, it's just about choosing the right direction when a new wave appears. Moreover, you don't know about your shield status, your opponents life points or damage value (knowing which one to avoid in priority would be appropriate!)...
Well, I guess I'm not the only one who couldn't enjoy a game that has however a potential, maybe with a scenario as well?

What you guys all talking about shield.. Do you get hit that often? Sure I die once a while, but I don't think more shield will prevent that, its just bad luck. High shield doesnt have any effect against the boss since it kills you by 1 touch. My shield was 65, weapon 80, engine 70 and the boss was easy.
