Some of the mechanics weren't used very much before being taken out of the stages again; seems like there'd be untapped potential with the game.

pretty cool design. Could be more challenging. Also the green hooks can get a little confusing. I would suggest looking at a zip tie for inspiration for a graphical redesign of this element

However, in some of these levels, if you move the tiles incorrectly, you will "succeed" before you get a chance to get all the stars. This actually punishes mistakes and carelessness.
More directly, there is a mode which replaces the stars on the board with a move limitation. If you solve the puzzle, but use too many moves, that is considered a partial fail.
I'm not sure how you could add a fail state to a game like this, however. A simple timer might be a suitable stop-gap, but I'm not sure how effective that would be overall.

I really wish there was some sort of "fail state" in this game. Otherwise, I would argue it shouldn't be called a puzzle game at all.
Games like this, and games like Pokemon, are what I like to call games with "inevitable success." No matter what you do, you are moving towards beating the game.
The puzzles in this game all have one solution: remove the block with the fewest obstacles and repeat. Or, if that's giving you trouble, you can try this: drag each block in each direction. There is nothing to watch out for, nothing to trick or trap the player, so there feels like there is no challenge whatsoever.
One game that is able to solve this problem (at least in one of the game modes) is Roll the Ball. In this game, you have to roll a ball along a sliding tile game. Also there are optional stars to get on the board, usually required a less direct path. This normal mode falls into many of the same traps as this one, but there are two exceptions.

I'm so confused on how I completed this game. I RARELY used hints and that was towards the beginning levels. This made me feel really smart though I didn't know how I was figuring them out.

Once again a great job, but doesn't seem like the ach works for me. It get's stuck on 34, even when level 35 has been completed twice ^_^

I don't like when there's something unfinished as I started the game quite a while ago and still hadn't gotten the badge so I came back to get it and now I feel like I might have more than the 3 brain cells

Love this and the iOs version, though I wish you hadn't mucked up the iOs version with the new graphics and game mode. It was perfect before.

Great puzzle game! No instructions needed, but engaging and challenging without being overly frustrating! Awesome job!

Lovely, clean design and thoughtful puzzle making. However, not a game for me since I lost interest from the lack of challenge.

It would be better if the controls were more responsive. I keep clicking and dragging on pieces that are obviously ready to go, but they refuse to budge unless I try like 10 times. Good puzzle game, but difficult to learn the patterns when the pieces are unresponsive.

Hi all!! I found this game in the Play Store and I can't stop playing it. Can someone please tell me how to skip ahead to the puzzle I left off on? Thanks!!
