I personally prefer the relative simplicity of the previous games. Some of these levels (looking at you, 22) are outright tedious, and the overlapping icons/indicators make it hard to tell what's even possible at times. Still pretty solid.

Second to last level was the hardest. Final level was pretty easy after that. Love these games, really different and fun

Love the game - have played it a lot both here and on my iPhone. One thing, tho - another reviewer is right that swapping blocks is tedious. (Locked blocks is fine.) Still, glad to see some new things, even if they don't quite pan out to be perfect.

So the full version is only available on a phone or tablet?
That REALLY sucks, for those of us who don't have either.

I just found Unpuzzler on Kong. It doesn't play well for me on Kong but I managed to get thru it on fast mode. I own this game on my iPad and iPhone love it...all 250 levels in both modes. A favorite game.

I loved the game, but found the switching between inactive and active blocks a little tiresome. Loved the extra mode, beat the game within a few days of casual play. Awesome game as allways.

Honestly, the quality of the puzzles in this game are so far below the level you've demonstrated in previous editions of this series that it's saddening. The two main mechanics relied on in this game (swap blocks and locked blocks) are both pretty underwhelming. Neither brings any real depth to the puzzles as much as they just force a lot of tiresome slogging. You had a whole arsenal of mechanics from previous games that you could have brought to bear here, but your decision not to is... disappointing.

This was still a fun experience, but I found it to be a bit lacking compared to the earlier games. It took too long to get to the new mechanics, causing the game to feel like it ended too quickly. This may be remedied by the mobile version, but some more levels in the kongregate version would have been appreciated.

I noticed that sometimes the destroyer tiles disappear when I try to swap them with other tiles of the same color/shape. Is it intended? How can I tell if it happens? It seems very random to me and sometimes it makes the puzzle harder if not unbeatable.

This is a new game only 11 days old, yet it feels like I've already played it a long time ago. I guess it's because there are other games like this one - even from the same author. That said, there is always some innovation, so while it is not always fresh, it doesn't go stale at least. 4/5

Another good entry of this puzzle series, but I don't like the locked blocks and constantly having to click them and then another similar block.

Anyone else noticing that in fast mode the blocks occasionally just go through each other? I've had two instances of this, and I don't know how to recreate either. One time I clicked on a block, held down, destroyed one of the explosive blocks that was free, and the block I clicked originally just flew through a different block ignoring it entirely. The other time I had just started the level, clicked on a block randomly, and it went through one block and into an explosive block. I've double checked that the blocks they go through aren't the hollow blocks, as well.

I had to mute the game for a bit, and... When I returned I had no way to turn it on again. Not even refreshing the page.

The mechanics where you click between two things to switch them (and it was done twice!) aren't great - it's just busywork in nearly all cases, they make things more tedious, not more difficult.

it's perfect, no bug, 100% finished on both modes, thanks for this amazing game, 5/5 + favorite, waiting for kong badges... and for UnpuzzleST ;)

Hey. An idea on the lives thing, people seem to be quite against it. Feeling limited breaks the feeling of relaxment a bit. Soooo. Rebranding it as energy would make it seem less a lethal limitation. When it runs out it'd have to fill up before being able to make a move again. It'd still serve the purpose of click everything being a solution.
Aaand also a question. Which programming environment you use? A game i'm developing needs somewhat similar mechanics, it's block based. And i'm growing a bit frustrated with unity, it's not really suitable for 2d..
Thanks for suggestion I'll think about it, although lives (hearts) are much more intuitive as to what will happen when they run out. I'm using Construct 3, it's more limited than Unity, but it is much easier to use and much faster to create 2D games with.

It's a story we've seen a hundred times: A franchise that started out simple, elegant, and enjoyable steadily devolving into a nightmarishly overcomplicated, freakishly difficult, unplayable mess (Decision, Super Action Adventure, Bloons, Idle Sword, Learn to Fly, oh, let's save some time and say *all of them*). No surprise that this doesn't have the "5 minute" tag; in the later levels, removing four damn pieces will take that long. In the past I'd be furious about this, but now I'm just resigned to the fact that the infinite-crap-tolerance mobile market is swallowing up everything, and Unpuzzle is just its latest acquisition. Another one inevitably bites the dust. Casual is dead and Kekgames is dancing on its corpse. 2/5
heh, neither Unpuzzle, nor Unpuzzle 2 has "5 minute" tag, but otherwise very good points, sorry for making you think in a puzzle game, that indeed is a disgrace for the genre :(

I love the game mechanics (except for the circle-X-lock - too much clicking), but when you start getting multiple indicators on one piece, it can get pretty difficult to take everything in and process how to go about solving the puzzle.

Tip for others that can't find the game on the app store when searching for the title: Search for the developers name instead, Pavlo Sich.

Interesting how the game is replayable in the other mode. The levels are same but it's not really possible to memorize the solutions, so playing it in the other mode first makes it feel like there are double the levels.
Also. I need to get rid of my uncomfort of playing on a phone. The play store games support the creators a lot more than kongregate add revenue. And a lot of new levels so it's a win win.
By the way. Does kongregate give ad revenue at all. I'm uncertain of that, none of my games have gotten complete enough that i'd bother releasing them so i don't really know..

this is amazing. though somehow i was able to get the fourth heart and lose the third (probably at the same time, wasnt paying attention). not a game breaking bug at all, just interesting
