This game has some great concepts. One major shortcoming is that you can't get power and water through existing buildings. That's rather unrealistic and is a major pain. I also agree that buildings should not draw power when they're not producing (e.g. a mineral extractor with no minerals left.) An option to shut them off or prioritize which buildings get power when demand exceeds supply would be nice too.

Level 2. I've played it many times now, and there comes a point when the colonists just won't build anything anymore. Lay down a building or pipes? Nope. We'll just wander around doing nothing, even though you have a surplus of everything. I want this game to be good, but it's just so buggy.

i understand that some guys are not builders. but the guys that are, rather fight then build. i take off the defending part and just build while others gather supplies, they dont do a thing! i dont understand it.

TIP: eliminate the enemy as soon as possible so that you can focus on production. dedicate your men in a one or two task(s) so that they wont roam around. assign more people in Carrying goods to increase production.

Worst RTS ever made. How do you put this much work and love into something and fail so horribly? If you can't create an AI to automate units, don't automate them. Work within your technical abilities.

Need the ability to manually change where materials are stored, and be able to get stuff out of storage even if a building is powered down. If I have a bunch of components stored in my components factory, I have to have it online for my guys to use them. If its online, its using my metal up, which I may not want. Otherwise, very fun.

If you want me to read through the instructions, then don't make is so long. Just give us plain facts and be done with it.

it's never explained that you need to connect pipes to certain points on buildings. if it is explained, I missed it 3 times. it would be great if I could power things by building power lines along any adjacent wall.

Bonus mission seemed impossible to get anywhere on due to my guys constantly getting killed by pirates. Then I discovered that I could pick them up and dump them back at base. This made it possible to complete, but was quite tedious. Having them not run off in the first place would be a much better solution. I would find them wandering around the enemy bases and their status would say "getting equipment". Having an expandable base perimeter would be a nice touch - colonists set to not attack/defend or mine specified mineral crops could be restricted from leaving the perimeter.

I really like the game, and played for hours last night! I agree with many of the comments on how it could be improved, e.g., full screen so the details aren't so tiny and better control of the colonists. One thing I find disappointing is how many 'space pirates' / 'mad colonists' you face. Surely that's not the real challenge when colonising Mars?!?

Would simply reiterate all that has been said in the top comments. Maybe have some more upgrades too, E.G Power plant upgrade for more energy etc.

Im loving this game, just one or two things, I think its kind of wierd, if you have a metal extractor, that has, lets say 10 metal stored in it, you pause the facility, you loose acces to those 10 untill you reactivate it :/ 5/5 anyways tho, i cant stop playing :D

Not getting a jet suit in real life I can deal with, but I don't even get my jet suit in the game! I gave it 5/5. Despite its flaws, one of the most enjoyable RTS flash games I've played.

2/5 Followers cant seem to follow orders when I say attack I should see my group go for that target.. when I say mine here I should see them mine
when I start I shouldn't be flooded with 4 or 5 pirates or raiders or mad scientist and have all my guys wiped out.
The idea is great it really is but needs some serious work.

Good little game, gets laggy after a while though. 2 missing achievements for me : Future is now... and Been there, done that. 4/5 imo

Need more maps :) And some more info: veteran has +2 damage. 100+2, or 1+2? Its a big difference. Need option to show building HP, to see what needs to be repaired. Needs option to show underground stuff, like it appears when i build pipes. Offline buildings should be still accessable. My component factory is offline most of the time, and I wonder why my guys cant find materials, when i have like 20 on stock.

Great concept for the game. There should be an option for zoom since I can't see anything. I build a bunch of buildings that are permanently offline and this is just ridiculous.

My people will seldomly get those crystals, but instead they run around, protecting the colony just everywhere. I do have the feeling marking the crystals for the colonists to take them does not work.

My colonists stopped heeding build orders after about a year and a half on mission two. I just sat there with pipes and buildings queued up and the colonists milled about doing nothing. No lack of metal or components. Very aggravating.

I got Arnold Rimmer as a colonist. Instead of doing any real work, he kept charging the pirate base until he died. Smeg-head.

@blighty80 It's like a home base that you can set where ever you want. You can build it near a big deposit of minerals to shorten the walking distance for your guys.

the research center i believe needs to place near the minerals far out so they don't have to walk all the way back the command center
