Updated my rating from 4 to 5, great stuff Kendric!
Question - how does "From death comes life" work exactly? Do the vampires explode causing damage to enemy when they die, and if so how is the damage of the explosion calculated/how big the explosion/how big the area help allies?

Dude! And you have little tooltip storylines! Omg, now officially the best flash game I have ever played, without any exaggeration (OK, partially due to dungeon keeper 2 nostalgia, but AWESOME game).

The sell values are messed up. The listged values are already 50% of what they cost (which is fine, ok w/e), but then the game gives 50% of THAT price. A boulder costs 50, it's listed sell value is 25, and it gives me 12 or 13 when I sell it.

Nice job, Kendric. This was a fun one, and makes me want to blow the dust off my copy of Dungeon Keeper 2. I think you've got a winning concept here. Just a couple tweaks to make it even better (or maybe include in v2?):
- Tone down the item power in-level, but let them carry over to the next map
- include a little more character dev with customizable stats.
- more maps!
- a sandbox or random map generator.
Good stuff overall though. Thanks for the work!

It sometimes really starts to lag. Which requires a refresh of the page but then if your in the middle of a game you lose progress.
Otherwise very good. Just seems I'll run out of campaigns soon.

Agreed, anti-spawn camping nova should be fixed. Also needs more maps; 9 is really too little; it's already bad enough considering we start basically from scratch on each map - levels, items... practically nothing carries over.

i like the updates and every thing farely well but like farwalker said stupid nova and i wish u could have more upgrade points and theres a bug everytime i play i map ive beaten it says point- -1 and i have to reset everything and its a pain !

BUG: When floating gold and item(s) are released from a kill/chest, the amount of gold is sometimes hidden beneath the item icon.

The update killed it s bad. it was such a great and well-made game before, now i have to revise everything. now there are some rocks that cant be mined because they are in range of the explosion

Have been playing the updated version a bit - the radius of the spawn nova is slightly too large in my opinion. Compromises too much map area. Perhaps back the radius off by half to 3/4 of a square?
I also suggest that both peons and avatars not trigger the nova. The peons for the reasons kassikas mentioned, the avatar because it avoids problems navigating your avatar around the map and makes some creative treasure placements possible.
Thanks for the explanation on the lich shot radius upgrade - what is the size of a regular lich shot explosion?

HAHAHAHAHA, level 5 is sooo fun, barley beat the last level on it, the rest of the levels for it were easy, but that last level, with about 500 people coming at me was so hard!!!!

Loved the game Kindrik but the update killed it for me. While I do not mind adjusting my tactics to compensate for the explosion around hero spawn points, those explosions kill my diggers and make it rather impossible to get at most of the platinum in the game, as well as the best treasure in the prison map. Prelude to Victory has about half the map and a whole bunch of money cut off. Is there a way to play the old version?

Wish there was an ending sequence or something. As is the game doesn't even acknowledge that you beat it. Also could use a game over screen.

Seanus: Do you mean dungeon keeper? I have never played dungeon master. I highly doubt my maps have the same name and layout as that game.

Great game, though, I having difficulties beating the final boss, even though I tried multiple ways to defeat them. Any suggestions?

TRICK TO THIS GAME!!!:
USE THE DIG BUTTON!!!!
put archers on other side of a wall, along with manticores, vamps, ect...
make sure you don't penatrate the wall into main hall though!
Trick #2:
PUT POINTS IN HERO FIRST!!!
try to fill out everything except the Back in Black, this will make your hero invincible! the last point left is up to you, i sugest the "where is the beef" talent

BE CREATIVE! be creative in setting up traps and monsters and your hero!

What do each of the stats do? Like dexterity? What creatures have what stats? This information is in none of the help or tutoral stuff.

anyone here google "dungeon master" this guy has taken more or less everything from it, many of the campaign names are stolen, the rooms are all the same and the whole game mechanic is the same

The whole giant death wave thing from spawn points is annoying.... although it is kinda nesecary, i feel like it has too big of a range, often killing you through walls when you're not even close to the spawn, forcing you to set up you're defense almost right next to the main base.

redbull on easy you should be able to win with just a good cluster of melee taking the hits while ranged guys deal the damage.

the eye of the tiger, dont forget heroes are stronger then monsters :) thats why you have a bold party of adventurers that slaughters an entire dungeon full in every game :) So your monsters are not supposed to be able to beat everything 1-1 all the time. It depends on a lot of things.

Hey guys, i know most people prob wont even see this but its worth a try. If you say its too hard or too easy(i get about 50/50) please say which difficulty and how far you to got too so i can haev an idea of what people are doing.

a few things that can be worked on like how the people can just tear right throught your towers and estroy them and the mages ARE TO DANG STRONG and had a hydra go against 2 or 3 (cant remember) and die. Good game still and some more story that would be nice and mybye a wider selection of avatar 5 or 6 would be good I would love to see a second dungeon defender!
