The little guys that your character send out do the digging, if they can't get to where you place the shovel marker they will never dig. Start digging close to your character.

A fun game with a nice evil story line. One thing I would like is a way to select all of one kind of tower or all towers so you could easily set tower range to max on the later levels were you have unlimited money and put the longest range towers were ever you have left over room and then have to click on each and max there range. Good game though keep up the good work.

Level 4: Don't let the treasure at the side distract you, you don't really need them. All I did was spam minotaurs in the space in the middle. I only took two treasures, but ended up with 2 extra items at the end anyway.

CopyLion, it's not really a remake. Considering the game you mention was only released in 2007 IN JAPAN, and didn't reach localized English-speaking countries until 2009. Note the upload date of May 17th, 2008. I highly doubt the developer/s played your "famous" game, especially since, and I quote, "This game is mostly unknown outside of Japan and is considered to be a cult hit." Research is a useful tool, isn't it?

I'm not sure how hard you got it set to, but Liches deal AoE damage, making them ideal to taking out large numbers of weaker soldiers if you manage to group them up a little. I played as Deathknight, but as far as I understand the other classes get other last units then red dragon thingy, which might be better suite for this(not tried them).

We have the classic avatars like dark knight, Chaos ranger, Dark wizard but then you could have hungry ogre or fire dragon, i dunno know?

Without the ability to grind to higher levels this game is just way, way too difficult. I wouldn't mind failing if i actually got a skill point or something from it, but losing earns you absolutely nothing but frustration.

I think you should able to click and drag with the dig tool. Also be able to keep your avatars level and equipment through the stages.
I love this game, should be put on the app store.

I really really want to love this game, because it has such potential. In the end, however, it just falls short on too many aspects (all mentioned in other comments) to really make it something I want to spend more than a few minutes playing. I'll snag the easy and medium badge, and then move to another game. 3/5

As soon as I saw Dungeon developer I thought that it was a dungeon defender clone and was very happy... When it wasn't then I came to this game again. Still epic after the years. 5/5

This game is only 3.8, that's a shame! Came out 6 years ago, and it's gameplay is still unique! I dunno who the coder is, but I give him a hundred kudos, because this game could be morphed, updated into so many many good games...

If I had my way, I'd say we should keep a fraction of our money from the last round (like 1/4 money earned last round added to the normal money minus lives lost 3x last round) so we had an advantage from doing previous levels thrivingly.

Its better if they freely cross instead of destroying each of building they have crossed.I have built so much then they destroy them so easy.*sigh*

I love it but it seriously needs an update to fix the difference in difficulty between level 3 and 4 or at the very least make it possible to replay levels

Game's not giving out badges, loads way too slow between menus, and cannot load a saved game without deleting it instead.

just completed this game for a second time. 5/5 from me for this. is a truly excellent game. i do wish there was a way to get all the skills up, with more levels or more skill points from levels unless im missing something. still i enjoyed it and completed it without complaint. want to say thanks to the developer for giving us something to spend a few hours playing.

a tip for beating lvl 4 make alot of goblins around there path max out range and set boulder traps near there spawn and you win

not sure if this is an original idea, but first TD i've played that's like this, and i like the twist. I would love to see a dungeon defender 2, and more games like this on kong. simple graphics, not too flashy. 5/5.

get the 3 spike upgrades ASAP and place all 6 infront of the entrance (or 3 infront of the 2 entrances if there is 2) and you will totally dominate! only rogues, paladins and champions will give you trouble then

I would really like a sequel with a shop or an upgrade system. More towers (goblins, centaurs,etc), names for item and more upgrades for the hero and in-game tower upgrade like attack speed or damage. Better graphics while keeping old-style would be great. Really good game and waiting for a sequel!

For everyone commenting about transferable items, they made an enhanced version of Dungeon Defender on their main site. Here's the problem though: The development team is no longer working on it. They haven't made a game since 2010, and the enhanced version of Dungeon Defender DOES NOT work. This is the best you're going to get, so just have fun with it.
