this is one of the best flash games of all time and is very likely to be my favorite one! i remember playing this game over a decade ago and i still come back to play it once in a while.

The design in here is a lot cleaner than the sequel (Genu's Revenge). It's really funny how you can destroy one of those block enemies with no orange dot inside and get 3 million gold, though.

There seems to be a bug where I can't use skills AT ALL, without even being affected by Darkness, which I know temporarily disables skills.

Its been since 2010 since I last played this game and it seem people still have trouble with the epic. Here is the solution: TURN ON MOUSE CONTROLS under options. It will make your life ALOT easier. Also keep using time stop and keep shooting and use darkness energy charge as necessary. Rinse repeat. Also replete the energy bar till empty if you need to heal and then use darkness energy charge to refill the energy bar as much as possible. Hope this helps new players.

You can make the Nebula and Legendary shops move faster if you hold the key for 'warp speed', while turning 'time stop' on and off. This is better for when you don't want to touch the shops, but would rather them get out of the way.

I'm using boss world & beat it when i'm at lv.19, save the game, then i'm really trapped... Because now i'm at lv.100++ (boss world effect) i can't go back to lv 19-->20.... ================== WARNING, Using boss world before u reach Lv.20-25, is really bad idea (U can't get achievment if u save the game after beat it)

Also, the turrets are too close in color to the background structure -- I often don't know they're there until I run into one.

The tutorial is really rather hard to follow -- I can't really read a tiny box of text in the corner while simultaneously trying not to run into things and shoot them dead. I believe a sample level with freezing for instructions on the specific thing shown onscreen (press a certain key to continue) would be more appropriate here.

@Pywacket, there's a purple shop you can go to called the "Legendary Shop." It's a power up which costs 3,000,000. I believe it's a random occurance, and it might be a rare one. Also, don't get it confused with the nebula shop. (The green one).

Just started playing this interesting game yesterday and trying to follow Vizuna's advice. I have looked everywhere for the "darkness energy charge" but can't find it. Can anyone help? Thanks!

wow ramming bosses off the screen is dumbly over powered. I seriously beat epic by ramming him off the screen so he could not shoot lol.

Great game..makes me feel nostalgic...liked it......Also a neat trick to play through the game without much difficulty...Get as much defense as you can and buy the bosskiller generator....whenever bosses appear set weapon to autofire and just ram them out of screen...and when youre low on health, just heal! If they dont enter the screen to some extent they dont start firing...also i found playing dashcar with the boss costs lesser health and effort...Upvote so everyone who didnt get that 'V' coin has an easier time completing the game :)

I don't know if this is a glitch or not, but when i replayed level 3, an enemy dropped a gold with the word "V" on it, i collected it and it just gave me 3 million gold. I'M NOT JOKING.

Good game! Also the music that plays during levels (and not bosses) makes me feel nostalgic somehow. Such a wonderful game I've played!

For the curious: the Legendary shop item "Boss World" just replaces all regular ships with boss ships that don't fire their weapons except every once in a while. And just like level 26, you keep doing the same level over and over again, with no final boss.

It stinks that you can downgrade equipment. "Oh, you have triple neon wave? How about a nice double shot powerup instead?" I wish there was an option to turn off upgrades, or make me immune to them like I am to negative effects.
