Three ideas.
First of all, you could add more tile types as the game moves on to make the gameplay less repetitive as the game goes on.
Horseman has got to go. I suggest replacing him with a more customizable Ranger-type Character. The player could choose at level five if he wanted him to be a ranged or Melee character, and it would work out perfectly if there was a fourth weapon type, the player would be given a choice of a Bow, Crossbow, Musket, and Sword. As for slot 2, the only thing I suggest adding is an offhand dagger.
Bow: DPS is more in speed, excellent range
Crossbow: Balanced DPS, perfect Range
Musket: Slow speed high damage, lowest range
Offhand Dagger: adds damage, but little to no HP bonus.
Lastly, there could be some way to help your Heroes other than tiles. You could add in a Palisade Guardian style weapon that you can pull up and pop some people with. It could use Ranger weapons, and have a 10% nerf on Power to balance it, and to keep you working tiles.

I kinda wish the mission briefs did more than just throw a bunch of unconnected place names at you and insult the Horde.

If you're having trouble, just scan from the bottom to the top, getting every match up, and using items when you get them. By the time you're at the top every tile gets destroyed and you get tons of specials to use.

I feel bad for the horse guy, I mean not only does he suck but all his buildings are tents, some people get architechtual masterpieces and he gets a tent

Warrior "There is no way my insane high HP can get down!"
Horseman "I like to play robot unicorn attack, Just one sprint and all enemys are gone!"
Sorceress " I am so strong, I can go shopping for a new bag while we are under attack, and still win with easy!"
No serious, most of the time is just a search for the one possible combination you can do, or wait till the hint tells you to use your skill which you wanted to save for later. More possibilites for the board would be great to break this needle in hay stack search.
What else, oh yeah, it's a good game and can still be improved!

This oddly reminds me of Starjeweled (SCII UMS official map from Blizzard). On its own 3/5 but for a game so similar to another. 2/5.

I really enjoyed the mix of genres here, but by level 20, it was just really monotonous and the levels seemed to never end.

The mage:" I have awesome magic, heals, and super level up power!" Warrior: "I have a super defensive shield and a sword to fend off enemies and take little damage in doing so !" Horseman:"...I have a horse..."

im only on level 7 and this games become just annoying to play at this point, mabey because im not a big fan of bejewled but after doing the EXACT SAME THING for 6 levels it gets boring to me

I love this game. I like how you spend half your time looking for single matches because there is usually only one possibility. It gives me that feeling of meaningless monotony that I've grown so fond of over the past hour. I also like how you are sometimes forced to waste your specials, just to get new tiles to match up. It adds a nice element of frusteration to an otherwise boring game. Boring, Repetitive and Frusterating. What is there NOT to love about this game?

Love the game, you really mastered the genre! Some tweaks though, the horseguy needs ALOT of backup to survive while the mage goes through a level all by her self.
Also the tiles in the 'swapping' area are hard for me to see, (maybe because my colourblindness makes it hard to see reds and greens), it all becomes a big mess after a while and I can't find any groups anymore

Mobilisation is when you run out of moves, including all the power ups and guard units to place. All the tiles will then clear (giving you the healing bonus and guard barracks exp) and will be replaced with a brand new set of tiles.

wouldnt mind if the colors were more defined, it hurts the eyes after awhile. but in all it is a good game, very enjoyable. just let the colors be more defined

for everyone that says the horseman is awful: at level 10 he can equip shields that help him survive on his own and use the skill "counterblow" that lets him reflect damage, plus the charge skill is one of the best in the game

I can no longer play on Kongregate because the game is as if it is zoomed in an cuts out important parts of that game, unless anybody knows how to fix this.
