If a level is difficult to beat, all you have to do is go back to level one and try to get as many treasure chests as you can. You should be able to get 3 or 4 easy, and the higher stage you are at the more those items sell for.

@all the people complaining about the horse guy. the fighter up top levels slower and has WAAAY more trouble clearing the field.

This game feels unnecessarily long. I'm on stage 8 and it takes 15 minutes to beat it, and it's frustrating having to play another 15 minutes because the dumb knight that can't level up dies on the last wave.

There's a small but serious bug. If all of your first-line walls are destroyed, you are still able to build mages (4-line). Their tiles cannot be consumed and if you cannot match any other tiles on the field, you will be unable to interact.

Koke, If you are not supposed to use your knight and level him up, Why the hell is he even attacking? If he really is not meant to level, he should just stand still and let everything kill him so he dosen't level up.

Wow.. My guards always die. It's so frustrating cause I have to keep replaying the same level just to get 'Triumph' all because my guard died. -_-;

@needs a discard button...look under the menu for restart, or quit.
2nd point about game balance: Mage is the healer, so she's probably supposed to be strongest since if she died it would make the game much harder. Knight needs more support, takes longer to level, gains less from level and if he gets to too high a level starts to lose stats->suggests you're not SUPPOSED to be levelling your knight, besides by the time you get level 20 even with the mage you're almost done with the game. If you're playing it right that is.

For all those complaining about the knight's lack of innate power, think about it, "charge" is the most powerful offensive ability, so the weakness in stats is probably deliberate.

i agree with moloxia. also, was it intentional that some of the gear had dirty jokes hidden in them? i mean, i got a good blanket of the wood and all i could think was "wtf wood?!? that's another term for an erection!!"

You know, I thought I'd metagame this. I read the comments before I started and with my superb English ability, discovered that the Knight was definitely the worst character. So I decided ah, so if I keep him at the highest level, that will clearly balance it out. So I will give early guards to the mage and give the knight most of the exp. This doesn't work. Despite being consistently the one gaining the highest exp and always the highest level, my knight is still terrible. Come on whoever playtested the game, why is there a glaring play error.

alright, look. I praise people who are bold enough to try and mix a few gamestyles, thats how my favorite genre (shooter-rpg) came into being. 4/5 for good grafics and nice sound, but personally, NEVER NEVER EVER EVER mix an rpg with arcade games, its alrdy bad enough that we have to fish in half of the rpg games :/

A great concept, with some massive balance issues. Please, sort them out. Why didn't you instead give all three characters a ranged and melee attack? Mage has strong ranged, weak melee. Warrior has weak ranged, strong melee. Knight has average melee and ranged? Do something, it's gotten to the point where I just leave the mage to herself and she does fine.

There's little point to continue playing the game once you cross the "horseman starts receiving negative hit points at levelup" threshold. I understand this is a free game, but the developer should take a little pride in his work and fix such a glaring bug.

one tip that'll help u in ur game. if u find that ur heroes r too weak for the level or feel like training, play other levels.
