my horseman has recievied +0 stats for the last 3 levels, I would play this game to its end, but this bug makes that character so useless and weak, its impossible to go on.

Why is it that my lvl 10 cavalier dies almost instantly and my lvl 18 mage never goes below 90% health? This game has some balance issues

I can answer Doctor Marius because she gets more opponents and has pretty much no sidekicks you should really help the warrior and Knight But if you do she still has the more opponents to back it up

I feel like a couple of tweaks could be made to improve this. For example, when you get a special attack ready, I think it should be taken off of the board to be saved, because sometimes when I try to save my special attacks, I end up stopping the whole combination process.

This game is a really fun game, the makers did a really good job here, my only complaint would be the horsemen having bugissues with leveling and the fact that he's weaker then the rest.

maybe you guys should think that this game is suppossed to be challenging and the fact that the mage has a much higher damage output and more health and leadership helps you a little because then the mage gaurds you get do more damage and are more effective it doesn't really matter it's all strategy and luck stop complaining if you hate it that much stop playing

i hate how when someone dies and you have no one to fight, you only have to hope that you can get a combination to form another fighter or revive them or else you just lose -_-

Someone said this already but it's worth repeating: you get a lot more treasure chests on the first level, and treasure is based on your hero's level, so play that level repeatedly for equipment to use or sell. Also damage done by your special attacks does NOT count towards your levels, so if you're worried about the green guy leveling up to slowly don't use the charge attack (unless there are no enemies).

so unbalanced. needs a way to refresh tile composition without having to find the purple tear drop icon thing u get from matching 4 tiles. I'd get stuck with hardly any possible matches and just lose. mage is OP while the red and green guy suck so much they die so fast. and the red guys skill of chance to dodge really blows

I'm not sure if green wasn't your favorite color or what but there is just no way to have him live. Your best bet is getting as much Leadership as possible for the Horsemen because A) You never really seem to have a lot of green. There's loads of purple at times and loads of red but never loads of green. and B) I can't tell you how many times it's come down to the placed guards to defend the wall. This is a 3.

the witch can die!!! In simos, i gave her no help, and she died on the final round. And, to the Dev, What could've possibly possesed you to think "Hmm, I should make the strongest hitting guy LOSE HIS HEALTH THROUGH THE CAMPAIGN, therefore making it impossible to keep him alive.

Everything's so fast that it just turns into a spamfest. *click furiously for two minutes* Dang, I have no idea what was happening on the battlefield, but I'm glad I won. Oh, my guy levOhwait, this guy leve tooOh man, what did they gain when they levelled? I HAVE NO IDEA guess I'll start another level...hmm...or...maybe I'll go play a game designed for organisms.

3.5/5 First off future suggestion find a way to prevent level ending while matchs are being made i have lost many chests due to not being able to grab them as they are falling when game ends. Secondly make the tiles stand out from each other a bit more several of them look very close in color and on top of that the shapes therefore blur together other than that I LOVED THE GAME

From what I've read in the comments, and from what I've experienced in the game, that "GOOD LUCK, YOU'LL NEED IT" in the dev's description is 100% truth.
*cough* one more thing...I wish that whatever algorithm it is that brings in new pieces allowed me to hold on to my powerups. When the only move available is to sacrifice one of them...I cry.

Heroes appear to only gain xp from damage they deal, not from damage their guards deal. Having guards actually slows level advancement, meaning that they need to rely on guards more, meaning their level advancement is slowed. I believe that damage dealt by abilities also doesn't count towards xp, but I'm not so sure.

Help! I can't stop playing this game! Seriously, I do have one complaint--it is pretty frustrating that the levels end so abruptly. Maybe a 'Final Wave' warning flashing somewhere or just a trumpet sounding the final wave would be nice. Still though--5/5

Great concept. Nicely implemented. Horribly long levels; people DO get bored of doing the same thing, however fun it initially is. 5/5 - 3.5/5 (start/finish of game)

does anyone know what does the Heroic Rush effect? i know that it happens when you dp a long combo but then, the heroes start shining. It's like they gain extra strength/defense for a while or something? Thanks.

(continuation from my previous comment on strategies) Make sure you have soldiers/archers/mages ASAP, first to the Warrior and the Horseman, they can't defend against ranged enemies until they are close enough. The Sorceress can defend herself, especially if she's well equipped, so give her at least one archer and one mage just in case she gets overwhelmed, she has some back up. Don't replace/upgrade any of the guards, its better to have more in numbers than less with more power. Once all the slots are filled, then you can start upgrading the guards. ENJOY X]

Just so everyone knows: HEROIC RUSH is a long combo, MOBILIZATION is when there is 0 or 1 moves left on the board. MOBILIZATION clears the board, earning whatever is still on it.

For those who say that their Warrior and Horseman dies, here's what I use and they do quite well, even during a massive attack
Warrior: Maces and Light Armor
Horseman: Spears and Cloaks
Sorceress: Rods and Shields
(most weapons and defenses will be unlocked throughout gameplay)
When buying items at the store, look out for the ones that appear with "random magic bonus". One is alright, recommended buy the one with two. If none appear, exit and click on "HEROES" and the store should have a different inventory. try and keep ones that the magic bonus contains either "resores X HP in X seconds" or "returns X% of damage to attackers". when newer weapons and defenses appear, buy them ASAP! The newer equips have higher HP/Leadership/Damage/Damage per second.
Not to say that this is a perfect strategy, but if you fail one mission, u keep the gold, treasures, and especially the EXP, go back and fight again and you shall be successful!

Surprisingly the best level for cash farming is level 1. There are less colors to match than on higher levels, so more yellow tiles will be getting in. Just match non-yellow tiles first, until you get an opportunity to match 4 or 5 yellow tiles and pick up a chest. Repeat as fast as possible, since level 1 is short. Depending on luck/skill you should be able to grab 2-6 wooden chests and 0-2 golden chests in one run. Seems that items you get from chests are scaled with your chars' levels, no matter on what level you pick them up. Selling unneeded items gives a neat cash boost.

A fun idea for a defense game. My suggestions are you can usually beat about your lvl divided by 2 without your help so if you are busy doing something else you can leave it on auto and let them get lvls. Also if you get a healing item for your melee don't decide this item is better and get rid of it. My lancer would always die then I got health 5 health ever 5 seconds and he would always stay alive. then I found a better item with block instead and he started dieing again. Keep up the good work.
