This game is very laggy for some reason. It makes it almost impossible to play, when you move the mouse, but the cursor doesn't react until a few seconds later. I tried this a few days when it was the badge of the day, but was unable to survive more than 3-4 rooms because of the lag (using Firefox). I tried again today using Chrome, and it started out responsive, but also got too laggy to play after just a few rooms.

Hole in the wall sucks one in.. (Or just sucks.) It's not a developer's fault tho, it's the way Flash player occasionally gets old!

You can get set bonuses by having a helmet, armor and boots of the same colour equipped. If you get the blue set bonus (+25 defend, +200 life) you can put all your stat points into attack and get through the game much easier.

As you collect magic runes, they merge to form powers, unless you get a rune in the wrong upgrade path, so my bad ass Chaos power (fire and poison and ?) went down to level 1 basic Lightning :(

When I went into the hole in the wall, my screen actually got a shade lighter, and my mouse popped behind the screen.

Always go back to rooms you cleared. You'll find Fiends (Purple Animals) and/or Spirits (White Ghosts). Try to kill them all! Spirits will always drop a potion (but will randomly despawn, so go for them first), while Fiends sometimes have potions. This is an easy way to regenerate health and magic.

1. Always use blue armor set (easy to find). 2. Always choose more critical. 3. Find pink sword with 50+% critical rate (I have found them twice in first 30 lvls). 4. now it is boring...

That Hard Badge is more like a Medium Badge, I played actively up to an easy Lvl 7, then I just rushed to Lvl 10 without any problem. It's pretty short, too.

I saved the game, before touching some ghost to "join her in death", but when I died and refreshed the page... my save was gone? What did I done wrong? =(

There's some weird bug - most of "holes" in the wall you go into, have just a room with corpses and fiends/ghosts you can rejuvenate on, but sometimes the game gets frozen on such hole and you need to refresh and repeat the level >_

@KintoGames - Refine the game a tiny bit and give more variety in weapons and looks ... (ie Binding of Issac) and then this should be ready for a Steam GreenLight... Fantastic game (for a flash game) but would be awesome to see a fully fleshed out PC game in the future... plus it's alot of fun so I think it'd be a big hit.

@xSEANxCONNERYx - must have been a bug on your end... I went in the whole and found some chests... and was able to leave through the same hole I came in from.

Geez... Difficulty curve went WAY up! I defeat the first 3 areas with relative ease, and then I get hit with a demon-infested dungeon, and the first room has 3 things that fire homing magic missiles, one slug thing that seemed that at least 1000HP, and 3 other assorted minions!
Seemed a little unfair, to me >.

If you keep dying over and over in the first few rooms and are feeling dumb (like me) two things: 1. Click to block and click-hold to charge. The instructions are there -very- briefly at the beginning. 2. Revisit rooms and kill ghosts and fiends to refuel. Just bounce back and forth to completely fill up before moving to another room.

Rule 1: add some health first, then power and critical at your preference.
Rule 2: pay attention to gear drops: same type can have different values
Rule 3: just keep clicking, clicking, clicking. hold click to charge, back to just keep clicking. should make floor 10 easy.

so i do a room and ten i go oter room but ten i go back to first room and ten teir r moar enemy ??? tat make no cents coz i alredy did tat room im not blind devloper so 1/5
