My main problem with games like this usually isn't that they're too hard, but that they're unfair and I feel the same way with this one. The hitboxes are too large for obstacles and too small for coins, jumping from an edge often leads to either no jump at all or an immediate double jump (both of which screw you over) and as nice as the ball mechanic is, the fact that you can't change directions at all while in ball mode is - mildly put - awkward; especially considering you can switch in and out of it at any given time, which lets the whole thing appear as if it was made deliberately inconvenient.
Apart from that, I like the controls; the visuals and the music are good, too. 3/5

Am I just missing it, or does this game really FORCE you to listen to the annoying music with no way of turning it off?

I did, Indeed, have a bit of fun. Great difficulty for a game meant to be played through quickly. If I had to offer a constructive point I'd say the game might benefit if you had more control your guy when he was in ball form.
Fun game!

Not a bad little platformer. I have two issues to fix if you plan a future release:
1) Sometimes it felt like luck rather than skill to make it past a jump. Not timing, just being in the exact correct position when initiating the jump. Worse off, this issue begins at just level 4.
2) The bouncy ball mechanic was a little wild. It's good in concept, but I found it rather hard to control. I rarely felt that I had enough control over the physics to align my jump the way I wanted it to. It felt like a tossup every time I'd jump, HOPEFULLY I GET IT THIS TIME! (if not I'm dead...).
