I'm at lvl 44 now and i regret playing this game on Kong and i'm considering quitting. At the beginning you get a Kong ship that is just good for starting out, but later on the disadvantages grow: 1. it is impossible to join and relocate to an alliance and despite numerous demands devs refuse to adress this seriuos problem. This makes it nearly impossible to get help from advanced players en get to new ship tech. So you will keep on playing with crappy ships untill you get bored. Coining doesn't help here 2. Players on Kixeye website and facebook get to have officers, which is a great advantage. 3. kong community on this game is not existing due to problems with other games in the past ( backyard monsters),...
Personally i like the game, but if i knew these problems b4 starting out, I would have never started playing this game.

I don't see why people are so un-willing to start a game on here. I started this game 2 days ago and I'm already level 22 with 4 fleets that can get people to tier 2 of the fm. All you need to build are Skirmishers with havoc 3 to take out the fleets in 22's. Marauders with thud 4 and HB1 to auto the rest of the base. or you can build a fleet of marauders with rapier 3 and engine 1 to do the same thing.

Im not even gonna try to play. The comment make it sound bad and after I got so far on backyard monsters just for them to take it down, I'm just not going to do it

Wow, just wow. Never thought that Kixeye dares to show up again on Kong after messing around with Backyard Monsters here. So whats your intention Kixeye, same with Backyard Monsters ? You guys might create good flash games but fail in taking care of community.

@timinator17 The problem is, this game is NOT P2W at first (low levels) but when you reach lvl 50, Building times, repair times, etc, skyrockets! The game also becomes harder when you reach lvl 50. I like this game, but it really is P2W when it comes to higher levels.

Also, why are the top comments all critical? Some of them SO critical, in fact, I think they just have something out against KIXEYE... Very much an underrated game. Love it, I would even go so far as to say I play this more than the famous game that really made this genre popular, Clash of Clans :) Thanks for putting this on Kongregate KIXEYE!

This game is so underrated. First off, I don't know of many builder-type games where you have very customizable units, and unique/limited units too. Then there's the fact that you can intercept other player's armies, and even have multiple armies at the same time. You can actually recycle your buildings, your units do not get permanently destroyed (like heroes, you always have them), you can have a virtually unlimited amount of units (just not all at once), and the amount of weapons, armor, tech modules, etc. is astounding. Really a very good game, don't know why it is so underrated. Many other empire-style games are rated much higher, yet don't have NEARLY the same level of gameplay as Battle Pirates. Buying gold is in no way a must, either. Only thing I have to criticize is the fact you can only build one thing at a time and you cannot get gold for free. 5/5

Played for about 30 seconds and already I feel like it's another cookie cutter game just like all the crap base building games on facebook where you have to sit for days to do anything unless you spend real money. No thanks.

I saw the intro and thought, "Looks great, I'm in!" Then, I saw the actual game. I quit after playing for less than 10 seconds because it looks that bad. I can't stand this 2D-which-pretends-to-be-sorta-3D crap.

I particularly like the that the event quite clearly states it is "for all levels", yet the lowest available enemies are lv.25 and are thus inaccessible to a large swathe of players. I don't know whether to be impressed more by the pure ungarnished lies or the seemingly deliberate exclusion.

Under rating threshold (hide) I love how all top comments bitch about how KIXEYE is bad and shit. What I love even more is how KIXEYE replies to all of these comments and are cool as cucumber when doing it. Gj Kixeye. I hope game is as good as your replies.
Yeah ask them why they scrapped bym then....see how cool they answer it. Even though they were told about the bug in bym they still decided to let it die regardless of how much $$$ people had invested in it.

if anyone has a base in sector 181 could you let me know because im trying to relocate there its where my alliance is primarily based out of and i can't relocate near any of the members because they all play on facebook

BEWARE! Playing through Kongergate does not have the 'invite friends' button at the top. You CAN NOT invite friends, and consequently can not have any officers in your Great Hall. Officers provide multiple bonuses. By playing this game through this website, you will be permanently at a disadvantage! 1/5
