I like the game and concept, but the energy is making this game a lot less fun. it should be 30sec for an energy to rejuvenate or no energy at all.

great game, however i did find a bug with the a "remove spell" card in theory it was remove a spell card from the opponents field and it never did i think this is just a random occurrence but that's just me

The fast that obviously the computer can see our moves, but we cannot see theirs clearly shows a higher level of poor programming. There should be some alternating of "who goes first" to allow different strategies other than, Pure Luck of spell placement. Also the total lack of response from the Developer clearly shows a lack of concern on their part, and rating the game a 1 until the developer shows different. And for the "The game's done it's in Beta" comments, clearly you have no idea what a beta is, it is where the changes are made to improve a game.

Energy Bar won't be removed from the game. The whole game is already done, but we got the beta-version of the game, not the full game at the moment. It's a disappointment, but we have to live with it, whether we like it or not >.<

I am not waiting 30 minutes just to fight someone. Get rid of the energy bar. Everyone hates them. I do like the game though, its well thought out minus the energy bar.

cool soundtrack.. It would be cool to get some fusion , trap cards, defense points and other signature Yugioh card game functions that this game does not have. Why even have star levels and monster attributes if you don't seem to use them?

The challenges are silly, you need WAAAAAY better deck to even try them. They shouldn't be available till much later when you actually have a chance of winning or else you'll just annoy people.

My deck keeps changing itself from my custom deck to an automatic deck when I edit it, and I have to manually change it back. Pretty annoying to make my own deck and start a duel to find that its an auto deck that I don't want.

If you want to test out a deck, the Ambushes are always in the same place, so use those. EDIT: Oh, but you'll lose energy if you use lose, so keep that in mind.

I love the gameplay and the graphics but the whole "Energy" thing in the story mode isnt that great of an idea in my opinion. If any tink just keep it for the Arena Dules and you should make it towards where you can have more cards in your decks.

This game has potential, but to me overall it isn't good. You have taken out a lot of good aspects of the original game and "dumbed" it down to much. My two biggest concerns are that the attacks are auto and you can't direct your attack at what you want. Also that you can be directly hit just because you got unlucky and had a bunch of spell cards in your hand or couldn't play enough monsters to defend yourself. When I saw the name of the game I got a bit excited because I remember the older Yugioh games and how much fun they were. But after playing just a couple duels, I was very disappointing. Also, the facebook aspect of energy is disappointing to. I will have to give this game a 1/5 due to it not holding true to any of the original concepts outside of monsters and such. This game has potential it just needs a lot of work.

I hate how bad the computer cheats in this. It's getting to the point where it's a little out of control. You put out a spell that kills a spell, and they never put a spell across from it, same thing with a spell that destroys a monster. Yet, when you put any other spell down they play monsters/spells freely across from them, so don't try to say that the computer is being cautious or some bull. Making the computer cheat isn't making good AI, it's being a lazy programmer.

Let me comment on the energy system from a different perspective. 1. It won't go away no way positive of this. 2. It would be great if it could be tweaked or expanded to be more accomodating. I can tell you with absolute certainty though energy and "free to play" is here to stay. It has proven to be too successful a formula to ever go away. I hope that developers start to offer fair prices for the incentives (This one actually has very fair pricing which is great for packs at least) but rest assured this is a new dawn for better or worse in gaming. Blame farmville or anything that came before it. Energy is here to stay in all forms. Even the AAA Devs use it in their games now.

This needs a confirm button. I have wasted my resources several times due to pop-ups coming up and instinct telling me to click them because they're 99% of the time "ok". When we are about to spend DP, Card Points or cash, please make another pop-up go "Are you sure?" or something. I do not want future players to have happen to them what happened to me, and i'm sure, others.

Just a little annoyed with people complaining about the game's energy system without looking into why it is there. It helps with encouraging players to pay to play, and a major site that hosts games with this kind of system is Facebook. The game was developed under the intention of getting money from Facebook, and now they want to send to us a portion of the game to see whether or not they would get a similar reception here as they had on Facebook. Since Facebook is loaded with these types of games, it will be accepted there, but here, we prefer free games, where we are not encouraged to pay actual cash to continue playing or to become the average player and get wins to catch up to those who have been playing much longer. Sorry for the rant and all, but if anyone agrees about what I have said (both this comment and the previous one) + them if you like :)

I repeat, this is a FACEBOOK game. All if not most games on FACEBOOK have this kind of energy system. It won't be removed, despite how many of us want the developers to do so. It's a good game, but the developers are trying to see if sites other than FACEBOOK would enjoy the game as well. Obviously, the energy system will be a major hinderance to this, but it wont stop people from playing the game.

I understand why they've got the energy system, but does it need to be so high. Sure, it keeps people playing for longer, but wouldn't it make the game more enjoyable letting people play more matches in a short time?

Mine loads to 26% fairly quick before saying "connection Lost. Please refresh browser" I've checked the internet and my computer and everything is running smoothing on this end. Would really like to play this game

@thewookie: you can counter immunity effects by cripple them down or destroy immunity ;)

@Sajin86: the story mode is actually not the only mode :) Have you already tried the duel arena and playing against BAM friends?

@thewookie: actually you can fasten up the game. When you're in the duel have a look at the left of your cards in hand. You can fasten the duel up to 8x.

@Cokeheadriff: You're right, we do not copy the original TCG. Our game is supposed to be 'easy to learn, hard to master'. We think that this kind of gameplay is received very well for every group of players out there. We have already seen Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG games that adapt the whole experience from the real life game. We wanted to create another experience.
@ShaneG9: Yes we want the players to play. Still it's a casual game and we don't want our players to rush through within 1 day. Take your time to enjoy the dialogues, the story and all that's connected to this game.

The energy aspect of the game needs to be re worked. Waiting 2 hours to play 5 minutes is not any type of appropriate mechanic. Understood that you are trying to limit the amount of time people play/upgrade, but need to find another way to do it.

hmm... on an ambush, if you win, you lose no energy. IF you lose, and when you do lose, you lose a good portion of your energy. I don't know how much it is, may depend on the level, but I don't understand why you should lose energy for a battle that normally costs 0 energy to start and win. :/

I really enjoy, this game. I hate this energy system. But I do understand why they do it. It gets people to come back to their game, they run out of energy, they want to continue, but they can't, they leave the game for a bit, then come back. It also keeps people playing longer, they don't finish the game in one day, they play for multiple days, giving the game a longer life, and if they choose to beat it in one day, they will have to give them money to do so. I understand why they did it, but I don't like it. :/ Really like the game though.

for those who have beaten the game up to this point: the full game hasn't been sent to kong for some reason. I think series 2 has yet to be added, as well as chapters 16.1 and 22.1. Series 2 cards have not been added yet, and the friend system doesn't seem to be fully operational yet. If anything, I see this "beta" as an attempt to see if Kongregate members would be interested in playing this game here instead of on Facebook, and only sent an incomplete version to play around with. If it was more up to date, I might support it.
